Good value, great customer service

I'm giving it four stars for a few minor details. 1) the glass is in excellent condition, no cracks or bubbles, its high grade and very reliable, but my apparatus looks as though it may have been used before and returned. It has a few marks on the glass in the Liebig condenser, and it had some left over residue in the receiving flask stem. The glass doesn't seem to be affected at all though. 2) The thermometer was not in my original package and had to be mailed seperate, however hBarsci has a pretty good customer service center because it arrived just a few days later! All in all I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a great distillation apparatus, whether it be the weekend chemist or a Ph.D professor

Basically what is shown. No thermometer. The glass on some of the apparatuses is a bit thin, but for the price, it is within expectations.Regarding the missing thermometer, hBARSCI customer service was awesome and my thermometer is on the way. I also think that, for the difficult business model that hBARSCI is in right now, maintaining the good rating that they have so far deserves extra merit.Since this is my primary avenue of feedback, I can't see my way clear to a 5-star review since it wasn't quite a 5-star experience. So I will give them a four. But I would say "It's a four, but I'd go back for more.".

Good quality and I like that it comes with a storage container but they forgot to send a thermometer. I’ll change this to 5 stars if they send a thermometer
