OxiClean Laundry & Home Sanitizer for Laundry, Kitchen, Bath, Carpet & Upholstery, 2.5 Lbs

I purchased a few of these containers on sale a few months ago. Not sure why, but I hadn't tried it until this past weekend. I ended up using it on all 6 bedding and towel loads. I LOVE that is dissolves easily and rinses easily and creates no bubbles that require extra rinsing. There is not much of a scent to it, but everything smells clean and fresh when done. Best part is that I don't have to wait until the rinse cycle and then pause the machine like other products. Arm & Hammer got it right with this product! EASY. Add it in at the beginning of the cycle with your detergent and let it go do it's thing.About the container....I don't know why so many people have a problem with it. It is secure so nothing will come out from shipping. To open it, you squeeze the tabs toward each other and turn counter clockwise (left)UPDATE: I had the most offensive clothes ever after mowing the lawn and landscaping all day.... I could smell myself and I was really considering if I should just throw the clothes out instead and not even bother as I was too tired after all the yard work.... I did NOT want to use a detergent with enzymes on those clothes because if the cycle is to long with enzymes, the clothes smell like vomit as the enzymes 'break down' the funk on the clothes. I used a bit of dish detergent in a quick cycle and they smelled horrid still. Then I soaked in this only for 1/2 hour and finished the cycle with this only, extra rinse. They smell better than they did before they got funky today! These were my 'work' clothes so they were nothing special that I needed to save, but it seems that everything I buy and wear turns into 'work clothes.'I do not know why this has not been available for sale by Amazon (only 3rd party sellers) for the past month or so. I certainly hope they did not discontinue this as I keep waiting for it to come back in stock. This is honestly the best and easiest product I have ever used that removes odors and bacteria.

By then, the sweat and funk have been fermenting, sealing the sweat funk into the fibers of your shirts. You wash and dry them, they smell clean and fresh as you fold and put them away. Then you go to wear them a day or two later, as soon as you get sweaty, you get a musty stanky odor coming from your shirt."But i showered this morning..." "These were just washed and dried yesterday...." "Damn i stink...."Used this stuff once on my work shirts, stank is gone. No more musty odors right after washing. No more faint stench of vinegar. This stuff works and works good. Highly recommend for any man plagued with the stinky shirts.

I love this Oxy clean! It is a great laundry sanitizer and smellsSo good! Works well and the price was good too! My order can very fast and was as described! I just wish I could find it again!

It works.I chose this over Lysol or Clorox laundry sanitizing products because this can be added directly to the laundry without changing anything else. The others have to be used in the fabric softener dispenser and cycle, which means remembering to use it, and not using fabric softener if that's your thing. Where as this just goes in with the laundry. Can still do all the other things. It is just very very very easy to use.I ALSO like that it is still the well known Oxi Clean product. Still does the same stuff as regular Oxi Clean. But has the additional sanitizing boost.I want to say that I am not sure what any of this truly does over just a good hot water wash, however as a care giver, a client of mine wanted a laundry sanitizer. They have a front load HE, and they want their clothes and such washed with fabric softener, and also want a laundry sanitizer. I figured they would have to choose between their greatest desire but then I found this. They were very happy with my find.AS FOR ME personally,. I decided to buy a container for use in my old top load washer. I like using it with the dog and cat bedding and reusable potty pads (for a cat). But also for my cleaning rags (I am a house cleaner too), and whenever I just want that extra boost. So while I am not sure how the fancy added sanitizer works and if it is really needed, I like that at least this ALSO has the regular Oxi clean properties in it. Laundry has been turning out extra nice looking, feeling, and smelling.BTW, it has a very nice (to me) ultra fresh scent. Not cloying or perfumey, just FRESH. Very nice. I see some reviews stating otherwise. I guess it comes down to preference. Oddly, I usually dislike scents and am very sensitive to various fragrances. Not this. Your experience may vary.Can also be used in other non-laundry applications. Floors, counters, various surfaces. Neat! READ THE DIRECTIONS! not much is needed for use, and the dilution rate is significant. Use very little!!IMPORTANT to NOTE about the lid. It is lame. There is no way anyone with fine motor skill issues or grip strength issues will be able to manage this. I hope they consider a redesign. I dont have any issue opening it or getting the scoop in and out, but I can tell that it is going to be troublesome for more than a few folks out there. Basically there are two tabs that need to be pressed toward each other, then you have to keep this engaged as it is twisted open. Odd but totally doable if have regular motor functioning.AND I hope that they consider making larger quantities because this small container at usually 2 scoops per load wont go far. They make boxes of the other stuff, so this should have it too.ALSO, product containers are filled based on WEIGHT, NOT on volume. The container will likely not be filled to the brim because it was filled based on weight, and there is settling that occurs. Shake it up a lot then open it again and you will see it looks like there is suddenly more. When you get it, take it all out and weigh it. Dont just assume because it is filled to the brim that you are being scammed. Yeesh.HOW TO USE:So, whether a top load or an HE front load, just add 1-2 scoops of powder into the basin BEFORE laundry is placed inside. THEN proceed with adding laundry detergent wherever you normally place it. Add your fabric softener if you use it. EASY PEASY. Just keep in mind that you will want to soak OR make sure your laundry is being washed (in warm/hot water) for I think 15-20 mins. I just set my machine to a "deep clean" and I know it is washing for that period of time.Read through the information on this page for all the uses and how to use it .
