Regular purchase for our dog. Great taste as they are given daily as if they are a treat. Highly recommend.

One dog will one dog won't
One of my dogs loves these, the other won't even look at them. Although my dogs haven't suffered from joint problems, as they are middle aged labs, i thought i would start them on these. One thing i have noticed in the one that will eat them is that they seem less stiff after a swim in the river so that is an indication that they may work but this is not a guarantee

My dogs love them!
As ever you can only go on trust somewhat with these things. It's not as if your dogs can sit you down and talk you through the benefits tablets etc have on them. All signs are good though. For my two cocker spaniels they can have 1 a day. Larger dogs can have more. The tablets themselves are quite large and almost like an old fashioned paracetamol style thing. I thought this would mean that there was no chance either dog would just take them and eat but perhaps the claimed "braised beef" flavour to them is really there. If you have dogs who are more fussy the tablets can be quite easily broken up and crumbled over their meal. Full of good ingredients that are well known for their good effects on dogs I am quite happy to give mine one of these a day. Works out at about a tenner a month per dog on 1 tablet a day which is not at all excessive in my book. Note the advice to not give if your dog has a known allergy to fish or shellfish.

The dog ate it.
There is obviously a problem reviewing supplements shortly after purchase, because most require time to work before one can fairly judge whether they are providing real benefit. The ingredients listed begin with glucosamine - and a quick search reveals that animal studies have found that giving glucosamine can delay the breakdown of cartilage as well as rebuild it. Glucosamine as with many medicinals given to animals is also used by humans for Arthritis, with Random Control Trials indicating a significant reduction in pain over the placebo around half the time. It's always worth checking the principle effective ingredients - and I recommend a quick search using your search engine of choice along these lines. In terms of cost the tablet is a weighty 32p each. Equally mobility means a great deal to a dog's quality of life, and they are only with us for a short time. Making a table that is palatable does require extra ingredients, and the convenience not to have resort to the sure fire technique - at least for me, of wrapping it in a slice of Turkey Ham, is an obvious benefit. Edit. The dog is still eating them. (Actually the dog is eating them quite enthusiastically now, so has acquired a taste for the tablet, which is a good thing) I'm about half way through now, maybe two-thirds, I haven't counted, but I intend to buy these when I run out - it's harder to judge the effect of these on mobility as the dog although older was doing okay, but I'm also using the same brand's tablets for a healthy coat, and the dog's coat did visually improve.

Good joint supplement
We always give our dog a joint supplement like this to ensure he can keep flexible and active, especially as heโs now getting older. As with all these types of joint supplements our dog will eat everything in his bowl bar the tablet! We find we have to crush it into his food, and he does then eat it. Whilst hard to comment on how effective this is, as our dog is always given these supplements, I would say heโs had an adverse reactions and he continues his long walks without issue. The tablets are full of good ingredients and the price isn't too bad either. I would get these tablets again.
