i I am using this in an aquarium bowel, to hold with out mechanical filters. I HAVE IT AS A SUBSTRATE WITH FOOD TABS BENEATH, AND SO FAR ONE PLANT. I plan to put in more plants as soon as I get over my illness. But so far, it looks great even so minimal.
