Great fun
The originals didn't work but very helpful and fast customer service sorted it out. My boys love them.

Don’t live up to what’s advertised
These watches look good but the walktalkie element is poor. Says can reach 60m but barely reaches 6m.

Disappointing
As a child, I would have died for these. The very idea of a walkie talkie on my wrist! The adventures I would have had!!! It’s just a shame that they don’t really work. Ok, that’s not entirely true. But certainly the radio bit of it (I am assuming a Bluetooth link, given a purported 60m range) is unintelligibly poor quality unless you are near enough that you could clearly hear each other anyway. And the supposed ability to send morse code messages between the two doesn’t work at all, at least for me. You are supposed to pair these together, so maybe that’s the problem here, but - despite what the instructions say - there is no way to do this (no button to press). There are many reviews reporting batteries running out, but we’ve not really got these to work sufficiently for that to be a problem. Overall, I think two stars is about right. The idea is cool, and the handsets themselves are quite fun (in a very bulky sort of way), and maybe that’s all you should expect for £16. Just don’t expect them to actually work.

Cheap but fun
Bought for my son’s birthday. Not great sound quality, but didn’t really expect much at that price. Good fun though.

They do not work
One of them failed and will not pair. For the short time it was working the sound quality was very poor. A Christmas present that was ripped open so unable to return.

We were able to set these watches up quickly for our kids to play with. They were super simple to use and lots of fun if your kids are into spy things. They are a bit bulky so not necessarily anything they would wear everyday but just for fun.

These walkie talkies are really cool - my two elementary-school aged boys ripped them out of the package the moment they were delivered, and they've been running around the house/neighborhood playing with them ever since. Batteries: The watches include the necessary batteries (they are not rechargeable). So you will have to replace them at some point. Distance: The walkie talkie feature actually works quite well (at close range). It works in the typical walkie talkie fashion, where the operator pushes a button on the side of the watch, to enable the mic for speaking. As long as you follow radio protocol (say "over" at the end of your communications) it is quite possible to use them as walkie talkies. The caveat to this is the functional distance for these walkie talkies is really quite short. I would say approx 60 ft depending on obstructions. Durability: The are relatively durable, as my 4 year old daughter had one of them for a bit, and she is really rough with toys - even pulling on the antenna, but the watch seemed to suffer no damage. Cool gift with spy like gadget appeal. 4-stars.
