I like the over all quality of the item, but installation instructions were not included; had to go to my computer to fine instructions which was difficult to follow;

The step is perfect for what I want and need it for. Simple to follow instructions; nice heavy duty quality about it. Even more perfect is the customer/tech support at Amp Research!Why did I need to call them? Well, because the box I got was obviously shipped to someone else, and they returned it! That "someone else" was too lazy to call Amp Research and have the incorrect part that happened to be in the box replaced with the correct part.This is the second time I ended up getting someone else's returned product, and whereas Amazon didn't correct the issue before reselling the product. As humungous as Amazon is, one would think some type of QC would double check returns.But again, I want to emphasize--GREAT PRODUCT, and even BETTER CUSTOMER/TECH SUPPORT from Amp Research!

I helped my dad to install this on a 2017 F350 dual rear wheel on the passenger side. I would recommend you watch an install on YouTube first it will help. I did have to drill one hole which was the hardest part of the install. Some of the bolts are hard to access but not impossible. We did shift the step to the rear to make it easier to access an in bed tool box but it is very solid. It took a little over an hour to install on the passenger side, the diver side will take longer. Overall it is definitely worth the effort as the step is a very useful accessory on these newer taller trucks.

it helps get up to see in the tool box, but one foot on the step and one on the tire. It sits right behind the cab, so isn't ideal for a long bed

Since my tuck didn't come with the extended running boards, I ordered up this step. Box showed up on time, no issues there. I found the instructions better than usual with aftermarket stuff, but as mentioned in a previous review, Amp's hardware doesn't match the product. You will need to get a couple of 8MM X 25MM bolts to replace item # 13, as the bolts supplied don't fit. The hole they are supposed to thread into isn't threaded and it's about 10MM, so even if it had threads, the 8MM bolt would slide right thru. Other than that, everything fit and worked as intended.
