Bought mine used and it was in like new condition. Purchased this specifically as a guitar to travel with, as a practice guitar, for teaching my grandkids to play guitar, for personal worship or very small venues. For those purposes this is a perfect instrument it's light weight, easy to carry anywhere, the guitar is well made, frets are smooth, action is perfect very easy to play, sound is nice for such a small guitar, great little guitar as long as you are not expecting to be something it's not ie able to compete with a good quality larger acoustic guitar it can't but for what it is it's perfect. So far I have no complaints as long as you understand that is a very small guitar and that it plays and sounds like a well made very small guitar and it sounds good tuned to standard guitar tuning which usually isn't the case on most guitaleles perfect instrument for my purposes Highly recommend and don't be fearful about buying a very good condition used instrument mine was like new even the bag was in like new condition only thing that was different that what was pictured was that mine came with a spare set of strings rather than a tuner for me that was actually better as I have a few spare tuners and would have needed to purchase extra strings and now I don't have too for a while Anyway hope the review is helpful I you are looking for a good travel, practice guitar this is perfect and the price is excellent for quality of instrument 👍

**I'm referring this Guitalele as a "guitar" due to standard EADGE tuning I bought this guitar to practice on a more comfortable and forgiving guitar compared to full size acoustic guitars, as well as to make less sound when playing at night in a shared living space. This guitar has met these expectations and produces a nice, quieter sound that is good for what I need. The craftsmanship on all the wooden parts from the body to the neck of the guitar look and feel great reflecting a higher price point than this guitar sells for. The action is decent with no significant fret buzzing; the string action is slightly higher on the high notes than a quality electric guitar but not very different compared to most classical acoustic guitars. I have not attempted any changes to the truss rod at this time, assuming there is one under the cover by the tuners. Initially the instrument wasn't keeping tune very long, however after a day it is holding tune better than before and it may be the strings need to settle. Despite great craftsmanship on the body, the quality of the tuners reflects the low price of the instrument. At least one of the tuners feels like it turns slightly incrementally instead of smoothly, though I haven't added lubricants yet; I can't tell if something is too loose or tight. The string can still be tuned right but the tuner doesn't have the best feel. The tuning pegs have tiny screws at the end of them; I attempted tightening them due to previous concerns and I was able to tighten one of them slightly, however most tiny screws appear stripped and are difficult to service. The guitar is tune-able as is but tuner pegs screws may be difficult to service in the future. Overall I think this is a good choice for the price point; I am giving the guitar 5 stars in regards to the price being less than 100 dollars at the time of this review, as it is playable and looks/feels nice. If the guitar costed more I would be review it lower to reflect the minor tuner deficiencies.

Nice guitar. Has nice case. Sounds good. There's tuner instructions, but no tuner. It says there should be one.

This had much better and fuller sound than I expected. Really quite nice. has strap buttons - note that if you want to put your strap at the headstock, the shoelace they provided won't really fit beneath the strings the way mine was set up. Can't complain about the quality on this. Only surprise was - having never played a guitarlele before - the neck is actually slightly WIDER than my full size acoustic guitar (?!) - I was hoping for narrower because I have small hands... but such is life. Nice portable size, really pretty. Solid tuning pegs. The bag I received is different from the photo, with just a small flush pocket instead of the big round one, and it didn't come with the little black zip bag shown in the picture, but the instrument quality makes up for all of that. Definitely recommend it (unless you're trying to get something with a narrower neck than your regular guitar, in which case this is not the thing)

This is a beautiful and impressive instrument. For a reasonably priced travel guitar 🎸 it is amazing. I appreciate that it uses a standard tuning unlike its peers. I owned quite a few, and this is the only one I would rate as a real instrument, and not a toy. You won’t go wrong by adding this to your fretted instrument arsenal.
