I have been using Orange Glo for wood furniture and floors for years. I love the smell so much, but I don't love the greasy appearance that the product leaves on my furniture. Then, I saw the Murphy's Original Oil Soap. I can't believe I forgot about this wonderful cleaner! This has a lovely clean smell, is diluted in water so that you don't waste a lot of product, and it cleans so well. No oily residue on floors or furnishings. It is also great for cleaning other surfaces too! I dilute a capful in a bucket of about 1/2 gallon water, and washed all of my painted doors and woodwork. My whole house smells clean and fresh, and everything looks freshly painted. I will never forget you Murphy.

I have a sailboat, she's 16 years old and has ALOT of woodwork down below. Its starting to look tired and in some places dirty due to salt marks etc. I ordered this after a random chat with a contractor who was doing some work for me (plumbing not woodwork) and since trying it out I am amazed. I used it broken down with some hot water ( you DON'T need a lot of this stuff, a little goes a long way) I cut a gatorade bottle in half and poured some in then added hot water, took a clean soft rag and started wiping over all the wood - the dirty it lifted off (I clean my boat ALOT) was incredibly and the end result was amazing. You don't need to wipe off at the end - just slap it on. It made a lot of my tired teak look very very nice and people who regularly go on my boat could tell an immediate difference. It has a smell but only one I would associate with wood cleaning oils (its not nasty) - the smell disappears not long after it has dried. I also bought some lemon oil but as yet I haven't used it - the reason being is that an oil treatment can actually ATTRACT dirt as well as locking it in to your wood - I will give it a go at some point in an area that's not too visible and will review that also. Bottom line is, if you have wood furniture that is looking tired and dirty then give this product a go. You will be impressed with how it lifts the dirt off and leaves your wood looking refreshed.

I just used this for the first time on my apartment's hardwood floors, excellent product!! The smell has lasted through the day so far, and it smells so clean. I was using Method's wood floor cleaner, and I liked it, but it was quite expensive. I also felt like the Method brand wasn't as good as a cleaner compared to Murphy's Oil Soap. The Method brand does smell amazing, like almond oil, but I do prefer the look of MOS in comparison. Although, its quite expensive on Amazon. You can buy it for half the price at your local Wal-Mart or Target.

Murphy oil soap can be used in a multitude of ways. Excellent for what it does!! However, when the 3 that I ordered was shipped the cap came loose and 1/3 of one bottle leaked out and the bottom of the box was saturated. There was no protective covering under the cap on any of them either. Poor packaging.

This wood cleaner is a staple i our home, and we buy it regularly. It's our go to for cleaning wood, leaving surfaces spotless & fresh. Always satisfied with our purchase, and the vendor provides excellent service. Highly recommend!

The gold standard for cleaning and protecting your wood floors. Smells nice and clean and does a great job. Wouldn't use anything else, sometimes the classic is just the best so why change.

I'm not really using this for it's intended use...lol I learned that this soap is a good hack for cleaning acrylic paint off of paint brushes. I'm an art teacher, and sometimes my students allow the paint to dry on the brush. If I let these soak in just a little bit of Murphy's and warm water, the paint comes off easily! A little goes a long way, and the citronella scent is great, too.

Ich kenne Murphys Oilsoap noch mit der „alten“ Rezeptur. Als ich gekauft habe, war auch noch das „alte“ Etikett in der Produktbeschreibung. Erhalten habe ich die neue Rezeptur. Diese ist deutlich dünnflüssiger. Man braucht also mehr davon… aber- die Reinigungswirkung ist sehr gut. Ich nutze die Seife um meine Pinsel damit zu reinigen ( Acryl- und Ölmalerei), mein Mann nutzt sie in seiner Werkstoff für Leinölpinsel und Hartwachspinsel wieder auf Vordermann zu bringen. Er war seeeeehr kritisch, wieso so eine Fußbodenseife da helfen könnte, da das ja gar nicht beschrieben wäre und …. usw. . Jetzt ist er total begeistert davon, wie weich und sauber die Borsten davon werden. Selbst hart gewordene, verklebte Borsten lösen sich wieder, wenn man sie über Nacht in der Seife stehen lässt. Der Geruch der Seife ist anders, aber nicht unangenehm, auch wenn das auf der Herstellerseite in den Bewertungen immer wieder kritisiert wird. Einziges Manko ist für uns Europäer der Preis… aber das ist wohl America first geschuldet. Also: klare Kaufempfehlung, auch wenn der Preis weh tut, ständig neue hochwertige Pinsel zu kaufen ist teurer!

I have used Murphys Oil for years and year. Safe,gentle clean and I have used it on my hardwood floors through out my home. It take only a small bit in your water to clean safely and thoroughly. I use it for all cleaning and its an effective,non streaking product It came in two days and I will buy again. Lately I have had problems getting it in my local stores. Amazon to the rescue
