They are the only bottles I could use for more than a week with my son, who is now three and refuses to give up the small version for his evening milk glass. The "touchability" and flexibility of the silicone bottle are to blame, I suspect.The ease of cleaning and reassembling are key -although one must take care to ensure a good coupling and neck assembly to prevent spillage.Silicone is a non-reactive material which is absolutely safe for any use, heat or cold. Babies can hold it right away, and appreciate the softness and squishiness.Love them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars *by -***- on June 21, 2016* ok ### ⭐ They leak *by G***G on May 5, 2011* Really, they do. I read previous reviews and thought writers weren't being fair. Now that I've used these bottles for 4 months, the seals are getting progressively worse. They leak a lot, the nipple is cut in an "X" so once your infant starts chewing on things with their new teeth, the fluid gushes out. My boy cries instead of eating whenever I give him food in this bottle. And like another parent mentioned, as the bottle collapses when the infant sucks, it separates from the upper ring. My son has pinched his finger several times due to this and the pinch leaves quite a mark.I want to love these bottles since I am anti-plastic (silicone is an element - not plastic). But the design just doesn't perform well.
