Exact replacement and it works well but it remains to be seen how long it will last. The original that came with the new vac lasted only a couple months of use. The button used to release the wand for under furniture broke on the inside and I don't see any way to fix it.UPDATE: I purchased this replacement part in June 2025 and here it is early August and it is once again it is broken. The design idea Dyson has is a great idea but the execution is quite bad. Like other reviewers, it is flimsy thin plastic. A quick analysis demonstrates whether you're using this function or not, as you push the vacuum under normal conditions it is putting stress on that joint. It needs a re-design or better materials.

This works okay for reaching deep under low furniture but it’s too flimsy to keep attached unless you’re actively using it. I have no experience with the Dyson version; it may be just as flimsy, or not.

The attachment I got with my vacuum broke. This replacement is same device, just not same color combo. Replacement fit perfectly and works like a charm! I'm thrilled to get back under furniture without bending!! I love this piece, it's my favorite attachment! So far the quality appears same as original.

It works! Easily reaches way under my king bed, which the normal attachments would not. I still lay on the floor to make sure the entire underbed is cleaned. I could just stand up and with the attachment, the brush will go all the way under the bed but i like to lay down and watch it work!

Mein Original ist nach 3 Jahren gebrochen und merke keinen Unterschied zwischen den beiden. Wenn es jetzt noch genau solange hält wäre das perfekt.Fazit nach einem Jahr, auch gebrochen während dem saugen. Naja immerhin ein Jahr 😂
