Okay, full disclosure: I didn’t think fake lashes were my thing. But this kit is so simple and natural-looking, I actually got excited to use it! The set comes with a mix of 10mm and 12mm lash clusters, clear glue, and a lash applicator — basically everything you need to start a DIY lash routine at home with minimal fuss. The lashes feel super lightweight and honestly look like your own lashes, but better — none of that dramatic stage-mom vibe unless you want it. They’re cruelty-free and vegan which is a nice bonus, and once they’re on (after a tiny bit of practice 😅), they can last up to about 10 days with care. Application took a couple tries (hello shaky hands after bedtime chaos), but once I got the hang of it, I was feeling like I actually slept last night — even though I didn’t. 😂 If you’re new to lashes and want something that looks natural but still gives that extra oomph, this starter kit is a winner in my book.

If you are a lash dummy like me….no experience…. This is not for you! I think these require someone with a skill because all I ended up with was an allergic reaction and sticky glue on my lids for a day.

I use Lashify and was looking for a cheaper alternative. I did not like these at all. I wasn't even able to get them on. I got the 10mm and 12mm as I usually do with Lashify. The glue is a brush so it was clumpy and extra stick in some spots. This made my natural lashes clump up. The lashes came in one big strip when I thought it would be separate. Peeling them off the package was super hard that I stretched out one cluster to the point that I couldn't use it. Once I got the strip of lashes off, I had to careful cut each cluster so that I can use them. Not ideal and not fun. Now, while cutting them, I noticed that there was a clear stick strip on these lashes which I overlooked and proceed to apply them on my eyes. Well, it created a weird gap that I can't explain. I'm sorry I don't have pictures, they wouldn't stay on and my eyes were itchy. The wand they give you is flimsy and it was better to use my hands. Needless to say, they went straight in the garbage and I went straight to Lashify this morning and purchased more lashes and glue. If you are reading this in Nov 2024, the lashes are 40% off. I used to get professional lash extensions and it was so expensive, and I started doing my own with individuals and fans but it’s just so time consuming. These are THE BEST lashes. I have tried soo many lashes. I wear two segments of 10mm on the inside corners, then 12mm for the rest to get a more cat/squirrel eye effect. I have had wedding make up artists compliment them and start using this brand These look so natural, and are so light and comfortable. They are easy to apply above or below the lash. They don’t have a bulky bottom base and look so good on that I feel I still get the natural look of extensions. The lash segments are short enough you won’t need to cut them to get a natural eye shape. (Longer segments don’t curve with the eye and look bad on me). These are far above and beyond flutterhabit, falscara, ardell, drug store, or Sephora/ultra. They also last, I use Emeda super strong glue and they last 10-14 days easy even with super hot steamy showers and sleeping on my face. I have worn the same set several times, 3+, I just clean them before reapplying, by soaking in isopropyl alcohol for a bit to remove glue reside and then with my eye makeup remover to wash them off more just for peace of mind.

As a person with barely any lashes and having monolids, I am always envious of people who can wear false lashes without issues. I've tried full false lashes, partials, segments, and they all either look ridiculous on me or just fall off because monolid issues. I wasn't going to pay $125+ for salon extensions just to try it out. But the Lilac St Starter Kit is the way to go. I use two 12mm for the outer half of the eye and two 10mm for the inner half of my eye and it was perfect for me. They look really nice and after a few minutes, I can barely feel them. Very easy to install and I got it right on my first try. They definitely enhance my eyes and I don't have to wear mascara with them. This product is a yes for me and I will be ordering more styles and sizes in the future.

UPDATE: Dang-it, I'm a bit bummed because I had high hopes for these. They started to lift/fall off after 3 days at a 9-5 office desk job... i don't go to the gym, i don't swim, i wasn't crying a lot, i didn't aggressively scrub them in the shower... they just started coming off. Also, the glue stayed tacky after it dried so stuff was sticking to them. I used coconut oil to help remove them and I hoped the coconut oil would help clean the glue off the lash clusters but I still have clumps of glue in my lashes and on the clusters. I know it was my first try and admittedly the application wasn't perfect, but I would venture to say that these are not 'long lasting' or 're-useable' unless you have a way to professionally apply, remove, clean, and preserve them... For an almost $40.00 starter kit I think it should have come with the 'Ciao For Now' remover... now, do I spend another $20 dollars on the remover and another $12-$25 for more clusters to try again? Probably not. I'm sure there are cheaper options with the same (if not better) results... I hope this is helpful to prospective buyers, buy at your own risk. I'll probable try something else. [Original Review: I’ve been wanting to get my eyelashes done for YEARS but is so expensive so I have been looking for alternatives that aren’t single use glue in strips. This brand was recommended to me by someone who uses them religiously. The starter kit is awesome and comes with everything you’re going to need except patience, a steady hand, and a mirror. As a first time user I struggled lining up the lash clusters under my lashes so each eye ended up looking a bit different. I also struggled with the glue… I tried really hard to use a minimal amount for leash cluster but the brush applicator was not on the same page as me. I ended up with glue all over my lashes, the clusters, and the tweezers… I definitely have some clumps of glue in my lashes that will have to stay until I take this set off. Overall, I like them, they look effortless and mascara has been removed from my morning routine! I cannot wait to get better at applying these and hope that this is my new go-to beauty product. I’m hoping they last as long as advertised.]

Looks great but I just applied the same day, and it already fell off. Also looks dusty and glue are visible. Makes my eyes itchy

These lashes are amazing! Light weight and natural looking, could hardly feel them on. Still working on my technique for applying but got a solid 5 days of wear. And good price!

Easy to put on once you get the hang of it. They look beautiful.

Over priced for what you get

Lashes are nice and give a good volume. Easy to wear and comfortable. Overall, a good product.
