Fitted my Toyota Camry 2013 very well and easy to install and works well until now

Purchased for my 2013 Toyota Avalon. Install was a breeze. They seem to be good quality, and they're strong enough to lift the hood themselves once half open. Just installed on 3/23 so no comment on longevity.

I took my 2013 Camry in for service. It needed the works big time. I reviewed the pre-inspection recommendations before making the decision on what they will fix for me.Toyota of Claremont were gonna charge me about $150 for parts and labor only for struts!!! The OEM struts itself were around $85 depending on which dealer were selling the parts. Every dealer have different sales going on.So I found these here on Amazon. I read the reviews, and bought a pair. When they arrived it was easy to install. A 5 year old can do this probably. Just need thin flathead screwdriver and no more than 5 minutes of your time. Popped the old ones out and new one in. Extremely sturdy and feel like they’ll last another 5-10 years. I never changed my hood struts since 2013, date of car purchase. So this product I hope in the time being will meet or exceed expectations as OEM.

Bought these to replace on my 2016 Toyota Camry XSE V-6. My old struts were binding badly while opening and closing the hood. I priced OEM replacements from Toyota initially. They were outrageous! So I thought I had little to lose by trying these out, as they were FAR less expensive. They fit well, and function perfect. I cannot speak about longevity since I just installed them. But at this price, I could replace them 3 times and still save money over OEM struts. I mean their just gas struts, people, their not rocket engines! I'm well satisfied with the product.
