I finally bought this one because it was the cheapest that a review said it worked for XD.It works great. It was kinda confusing at first, but I taped up anywhere that the tool came into contact with my slide and took my time tightening it all up straight. I dont see any new marks on my slide from the tool.I used a hex key socket and a ratchet to push the sight out after tightening the tool up with the provided hex key. It made it much easier. I also put grease on the threads of the pusher bolts and the end that contacts the sliding part. I figured it would rotate easier under pressure.I had tried to take the sights out multiple times with the slide in a vice and using a punch and big hammer. I got the rear sight off, but the front wouldn't budge. I've read it's usually the rear that won't come off. This tool got it off easy.I read somewhere to remove right to left and put on left to right when looking like you are going to shoot the gun. I did it that way and no issues. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked on the rear sites of my XD-9 Subcompact *by T***N on November 18, 2023* I tried the brass punches and a BIG hammer and could not get the rear sites off of my XD-9. I had heard it was very hard to remove the sites on the XD's so I ordered this sight pusher with not much hope that it would work and that I still may have to send it of to Springfield or a gunsmith. It took patience and time but I slowly worked off the sight with this sight pusher. It worked great. I used glove and a towell to hold it so I did not damage my hands doing it by hand. I could have gone out to the shead to put the pusher in the vice and it would have been easier but I was to lazy.It did not come with the correct instructions but if you look at online videos you can find people doing it with this one or a similar one.The point is is that it worked great! I do recommend it and it is a great value. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works w/ Beretta 92, but… *by M*** on August 3, 2023* Beretta Sight workSo happy to have decided on this tool.Instructions included were for a different model (lolz) but this listing tells you how to use this one. The standard Beretta safety/decocker will interfere with the pusher fitting onto the slide (remove it) but a Wilson low profile safety can fit if you shim the slide so the pusher isn’t clamping on it. If you do clamp on it, slide won’t be square in the fixture and the dovetail for pushing will be off as well. Take your time and be sure of your setup. Didn’t need heat or cold to push sight out (remember out to the left, in to the right) … Reversed the pusher block to have a square shoulder pushing out and returned it to original for sight installation. New Wilson Combat battle sight went in with no issue.Fixture did job very well and is ready for any others that come along. Excellent results for such a basic value priced tool.
