Will work perfect for my needs

Been wanting one of these tools for a long time. Used to make 2 separate marks on lumber or other materials, use an available straight edge to line up the 2 marks, scribe a line with a pencil and then cut with my saw on the line. It was a lot of wasted work!! Had a gutter project that needed good measurements and straight cuts for proper fit. Finally got the carpenter triangle and made it made short work of and easier and more accurate squared-off markings and cuts. It made it possible for a better and more professional job result.
