Perfect length for FS800
I wanted to lower the action my FS800 on the Saddle and I'm glad I went for this one. The length is perfect, the width/thickness is almost perfect, I just sanded a few very very light strokes with a 1200 grit sand paper. The height will obviously be high but it's not difficult to sand it with the included sand paper. The radius on top of the original is more curved so I aligned the high E string top and made my mark with a mechanical pencil which meant instead of reducing same amount of height from high E to low E, there was an angle. After sanding off what I intended and putting the bridge on, it was perfect! There is more sustain now, brighter sound, and most of all, I hear nuances (which is positive) that I didn't hear before changing the saddle.BTW, when I asked a question before buying, the seller has replied immediately.I am not sure if this is real bone, but it sounds like glass when dropped, and while sanding it, the dust smelled like a marble flooring being grinded (yes "grinded" is a word). This is a good buy for $15.

Perfect for my Yamaha LS6
The original LS6 saddle slopes too much at the top causing the low 6th E string to buzz. This saddle fits perfectly. Just had to sand it down to preferred height.

Fits My Yamaha FS800
Awesome Saddle, had to sand down to adjust the action. Fits way better than the factory plastic saddle. The original plastic saddle had a small wiggle in the slot. This bone saddle fits firmly in the saddle slot and Im sure it sends the string vibrations to the board more effectively.I noticed there is an increase of clarity on notes, and an improvement of the overall tone. Please take ur time when sanding the saddle. Do it in small increments and check ur work often.

a bit narrow according to my mic
i did have to trim it down a little due to the fact it is an old guitar, a yamaha FG830, and likely will need a neck reset in about 10 years but it didn't fit as snuggly as i would have liked... my caliper shows it at just under 3 mm while i needed 3.1... the intonation seems spot on though and it sounds good so i guess it is good... not exactly what i was hoping for but good...
