Four Stars
A little tricky to dial in and fills up quite quickly, but it's quiet, low profile and inexpensive.

It is LOUD, I have to turn it off at night, guess that's expected. Put it in the EVO.
A youtube vid said it was quiet, but no... no no. It is a loud hummmmmmmmm, and I haven't measured but can hear it through a double drywall insulated wall. OK, it is quiet compared to other protein skimmers that is for sure, so it depends on how you are comparing. Maybe if it's covered up I can make it work, because I doubt I will find any quieter. Until then I have to turn it off at night, very annoying. As far as working, yes it seems to work pretty good, and that is important, as long as it collects enough during the daytime. Worth it? For daytime use I will see. If you have a hidden sump, it's perfect.

Perfect for Fluval evo tank
I have a Fluval AIO 13.5 gal on my light stand, next to my bed that I set up end of January 2021. I added the protein skimmer about 2 weeks ago. It works great. I don’t have anything else to compare it to but it did add noise (gurgling) and will add lots of micro bubbles depending on what type of filtration system you have. I swapped out the sponge filter that came with my tank for filter floss and that helped a lot with the micro bubbles but as far as sound goes, it’s the only thing in the tank that I can hear the most.Additional tank information:I have a collection of coral, a bta, two clowns and a scooter. I keep my valves on the skimmer wide open and the tank stays super clear. I feed fish daily and spot feed corals and anemone 3x a week so the bio load is fairly light. You can see and hear my tank on IG under salty.bishes.I would recommend this skimmer for nano tanks. Fits perfectly in the Fluval 13.5 gal AIO.

Quit a good Nano skimmer...
Owning the Fluval Evo 13.5 AIO reef tank, the Fluval PS2 is a perfect fit... Now I think Nano Protein skimmers, in general, aren't favored with great reviews, with the SP2 being no exception. Because of this, It's taken me over 4 months to decide to try the PS2 for myself. The initial setup was straight forward, taking just over a day of observation and tweaking to get a nice consistent skim. Break-in took a little longer, with some macro bubbles still present after 4 days of constant use. Overall, it's working very well. Yes, it is the noisiest part of my system. However, I'm happy with the PS2 and so is my reef tank.
