LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
I cannot say enough about this spiralizer! I eat a lot of zucchini noodles as a diabetic. This spiralizer has 2 size settings - fettuccini size or regular noodle size. I LOVE the fettuccini size. I Love how easy it is to use with very little waste, and I love that I'm not struggling to push the zucchini through while holding the thing on the countertop and trying to keep it from moving. If you're on the fence, but love spiralizers, definitely don't wait - buy this one. You won't be sorry!

5 stars from a person that doesn't even like cooking
First off, I am NOT INTO kitchen gadgets. But this one I surprisingly like. Yes, you won't use it every day, but it stores nicely and is easy to cleanup in the dishwasher. I thought Oster was a pretty discount brand but this one is pretty nice. I hope it holds out for years to come as I don' t like to landfill broken stuff. I wanted especially to try this for butternut squash and it worked very, very well. Even my husband that doesn't like squash will eat it when spiralized. So good for you!

Used one time and now it won't turn on.
I bought this in June and my garden veggies were not ripe. It set on my counter until last week after I tested to make sure it would run. I ran zucchini thru it and it really made mush of it. Tonight I got it out to use and it wouldn't work. I got my $12 hand spirializer out and used it. This electric one wouldn't even turn on. Update is that i called Oster and they are replacing my broken product at no charge.**Oster sent me another and it works but it makes mush out of zucchini and it was fresh out of my garden. I wouldn't buy this again. The design is so poor and I have to play with it to get it to work. I bought a hand crank spiralizer and it works perfectly and doesn't make mush out of zucchini. The spiralizer I bought is Brieftons and its perfect on soft or hard veggies.

Going Green!!
Revised review ...Having used it now for a while i love it and its far better than any of the hand crank versions, the only issue is that cleaning the cutting cones is a bit difficult and even a bit - hate to say it - dangerous. Its hard to get in there and get all the gunk out, and you need to because the dishwasher won't. A good solution would be if the included a cleaning brush to get in there and push the stuff off the blades. Yes blades, sharp like knives... I still recommend this highly but..... Caveot Emptor!Yeah!!!! Perfect for our Paleo... Going GREEN!!!! Going PrimalFunny I love it but my kids hate it! They don't want to eat healthy and this really saves time and effort turning some pretty tasty veggies into food for the whole family!Oh... Easy to clean to!

A great success
The spiralizer had the desired effect. It was a Christmas gift for my girlfriend who loves to cook and now she loves to spiralize. She was thrilled. She tried it and says it is "awesome". She's been spiralizing at regular intervals. I've been enjoying healthy cucumbers, squash, etc in amusing and charming shapes. I hadn't imagined the shape of vegetables really contributed much to our enjoyment of them but she assures me it does. It appears to be quite safe and well-designed (no spiral thumbs, please). It is easy to use and a great success.

GREAT PRODUCT
Oh my goodness, I cannot rave about this product enough! Some of the reviews do mention the extra little part of the vegetable that is left on, but honestly it's not that much. I have used the spiralizer with sweet potatoes, zucchini, squash, and carrots. All of the vegetables that I have used have gone through really well. I used the fettuccine piece to do the sweet potatoes. If you want to make noodles pretty quickly, this would be a great product for you.

Only works with very thick vegetables
This concept sounded wonderful in theory, but I just didn't care for the reality.I tried this product out, after being unimpressed with a manual version from a different manufacturer. Being powered by an electric motor, rather than elbow grease, is certainly an improvement. Even so, it seems that all spiralizers simply won't work with vegetables that are not very thick in diameter. My main interest in this was for cooking carrots, but almost all carrots are way to thin to work. If you're more interested in zucchini or something like that, then you might have a better time with this.

Easy to use and does everything I want
I spiraled several big zucchinis. They were too fat to fit down the feeder chute until I slimmed them down with a potato peeler. I pushed them in firmly and the motor never even slowed down. The pusher gripped the ends well enough that the machine was able to shred the zucchinis down to very small nubs.
