Need to lable clothing? This will do it.
With a weight loss program underway my size is changing. I've ordered smaller under garments as I've lost weight. Some of the smaller ones are a bit tight at first, the larger ones a bit loose as I get smaller. I've used this pen to put a letter designating the size on the inside of the back waist band to make the morning's choice much simpler than having to examine items and read fine print or guess - sometimes wrongly. It's handy. Could I live without it? Sure. Does it work through multiple washings? Yes.

Great and important to know!
I got this to see if it would help with very dark (several inches wide), large permanent black sharpie stains on a bedspread after many oxi soakings and many other efforts, all the methods. I didn't think it would work. Here's what I did:First applied it really heavily, several coats, scribbling back and forth, until the ink stain was covered (floral bedspread). It did cover the stain, to my surprise. Took just a minute to do that. So now have a big white spot. Then purchased colored (also waterproof) fabric pens, a lot of them, and matched up the pattern. Using the white and various colors in layers I was able to do that pretty well - no one can spot it. Took about 10 minutes and a little artistry. This amazed me. I'm away from home but will add pic when I return. This wouldn't work so well on, say, a white shirt, as the whites and texture probably wouldn't perfectly match, unless it was a tiny, not front and center spot. But this is a very beloved and expensive Pottery Barn bedspread and I'm delighted.I haven't washed it yet, but if the color fades (it's not supposed to) it's just so easy and quick to do again. So - colored fabric dye pens alone won't cover a black ink stain, but over a white one they will. And you can work with the colored ones to match better by layering them, to a large extent anyway.Another option that works (I did this elsewhere) is to dab bleach on an ink stain on a colored print until it's almost gone. Careful, it spreads and leaves a white spot; use tiny bit of bleach. Then heavy white fabric dye over any bit of smudge that's left, and then continue/duplicate the pattern on that with dye pens. Tricky but possible to match colors if you get a lot of the pens. Again, this is only worth it on an item that you really care about preserving.

Works well but
Writes well, once the ink starts flowing. Bad thing was they put their upc label over the directions on the label. Had to peel it off a few bits at a time until I could read the full English version. Why not place your upc label on the other side, over your logo picture? We will see if it withstands a few washings.

Unbelievable
So I was sitting on my bed in a rehab home with 3 pairs of black pants that I need to have laundered. However you have to mark them with your name and room number. Conundrum! So I of course go to Amazon for the answer. Search for laundry markers. And I see and buy this, works great, problem solved!

Waste of Money
I bought this item in hopes of completing some fabric painting projects while in quarantine. I waited over a week to get it for obvious reasons during this time I was not upset with waiting. When it did arrive I was happy with the product. The paint came out and it was very pigmented but not even five minutes of use and the pen completely dried out. At first, I thought to do what the package told me to do if the marker ran dry (press it and hold it down so the paint flows to the tip and whip it gently on a piece of fabric). I tried for over half an hour and nothing came out of it again. I let it sit overnight hoping that it just needed to settle or something but still nothing. I tried the same process over the next day but still completely dry. I even dunked the tip in some water hoping that would allow the paint to flow out again. Nothing worked. Overall, I would suggest that you do not purchase this product because it's defective and not long-lasting. Spend your money on another product hopefully, you'll have better luck with something else. I'm upset I waited for a product that took over a week to come and didn't even supply me with five minutes of work time. It's not worth the wait or the money. BUY SOMETHING ELSE.

PERFECT.
I use this to mark my yoga pants / leggings to mark the back of them. The inside logo always wears off and i use this marker to mark the back. The marker last forever and does not wash off.
