The Tomb of El Dorado (Sam Reilly Book 18)

Good action thriller
This is definitely one of the better books in this series. I've read many books in this series and I enjoy the straight adventure treasure seeking books like this much better than the ones about the Master Builders.Reilly is on vacation when he discovers the transom of an old Spanish ship historically connected to the mythical city of El Dorado. As Sam and Tom begin following clues that lead them into the Amazon jungles and mountains they find an ancient city that only opened up new mysteries. Golden pearls and ancient creatures are just part of the clues that lead them from South America to Venice and China.A very good story in a continuing series.

Good adventure saga
I found this novel a bit choppy in places -- the first I've noticed in the various books I've read, but the overall action is nonstop, if a wee bit unlikely in places. These novels read like an adult Hardy Boys or Tom Swift. Not a bad thing.

Great reading!
It is action packed. It keeps you guessing. If you like a little mystery, a little history - you'll enjoy it.

Smart Pills
He’s at it again, he and Tom. In one death defying move after another, from South America to Venice to Moscow, to China, the daring duo do battle with one bad guy after another to find out the truth about El Dorado and the man of El Dorado’s Tomb. Just another failed vacation!

Searching for gold
Another dashing adventure for Sam Reilly, but I’m sure glad he FINALLY has a girlfriend! Anyway, lots of action, and there’s Tom, his best friend, and the usual cast of adventurers. Lots of details which could get boring, but to me they didn’t. A real good read!

If only…
If only Chris Cartwright’s command of English matched his storytelling ability! If it did, I could give his books straight sixes! Unfortunately, his writing is chock full of malapropisms, homonym misuse, confusing sentence structure==you name it! I know of no other author who spins so good a yarn so technically poorly. Chris, now that you have a solid base of readers, please hire a competent proofreader!

Another success
Christopher has once again provided us with an action-filled, well-researched adventure involving the Sam Reilly team. Suspense and excitement from start to finish. Looking forward to the next instalment in this series.

Gold fever
Great fantasy about gold fever and its affect on different people! Lots of adventure, enough action and even a little romance! You must have an imagination to explore these pages and if you do, the rewards are great
