Is there a trick I'm missing?** A: Try twisting right to lock, after you push the head in. If not working maybe a piece broke off **Q: How does the sensor work?** A: Forgot to take a pic. But it has a sort of band that detects the electricity given off by our bodies. Not motion. So inside near Jake's front area is a copper band that kinda completes circuit as you reach in. My screwdriver would still set it off as I touched the metal (conductive) But a wooden spoon ( non conductive) will not set off the sensor.
