Great read,informative,but...
Bought this as a holiday read, and so glad I did. Very informative about the design of the clothes, with some tailors I hadn't realised had contributed to the franchise. There is much information inside, that I've read twice and I still keep flicking through it. The only drawback is the lack of official photographs, instead t mainly relying on line drawings (still good illustrations) and items from David Zalinsky's collection. If you're into Bond and into clothes, definitely give this a read.

A labour of love, by experts...
... and an entertaining and informative one, too.Part of the fun of Bond films is the clothing. There's a whole community of fans who enjoy discussing just that, and those fans will be well familiar with the authors and their respective work. To those fans, saying that Peter and Matt know their stuff is unnecessary. If you're new to the subject, it isn't, and they do.This book isn't a re-harsh of what they've done elsewhere, and it's not a "this is how to dress" book. It's something more valuable, and more grown up, than that: it's a look through the history of Bond's clothing, and an explanation of it. Reading it won't tell you how to dress, but it will form part of helping the reader appreciate Bond's clothing, and in the process, form or refine their own tastes.Peter and Matt don't just know their stuff, they have a real enthusiasm for the subject, both of which shine through in the book.

Fun Look at Bond Clothing...
I've been a Bond fan since my mate Mr Connery donned his first knitted tie. So I thought this was going to be much-of-a-muchness. But I was wrong. If you're interested in Bond's clothing over the past, almost sixty years, then this is a fun and interesting read. Perhaps not definitive. However, it's definitely worth a look...

How to dress like Bond.
A detailed account of the clothing used in the Bond series. The main drawback is the lack of pictures from the films but since Eon control the copyright so strictly this is understandable and the line drawings are extremely helpful in illuminating the text.My question is, apart from Turnbull & Asser, where can one get shirts with cocktail cuffs?

A must read....
...for every Bond fan as well as for anyone interested in dressing well. This book is not only a transcript of the "From Tailors with Love" podcast but also is full of anecdotes from interviews of the forgotten heroes of Bond: the costume designers. With agility, Pete and Matt take us on a 60 years journey by drawing parallels between costume designers, tailors and actors and how it has affected cinema in general and Bond in particular.I not only enjoyed to review, in one sitting the movies till early 2000's but learned also about forgotten tailors who keep thriving in a sadly dressed down world.

Brilliant go-to book for all Bond lifestyle fans
The guys have done an amazing job with this book, having followed the pair of them on various blogs and channels for years. We finally have everything down in print, and what a nice book it is too (hardback edition).Any fan of Sunspel, Orlebar Brown, Floris, etc. this should be your number 1 go-to book. Nice thing about it, the book is endlessly re-readable too. Ideal pool/beach reading.

Fascinating insights
I really enjoyed this book, it is well observed and full of facts but is well balanced with an easy reading style. Some really interesting stories of tailors from a world remembered, but that is sadly fast disappearing. The kind of book that would make a great present for any Bond fan.
