Honestly a great magnifier, great price, and comfortable!
This is honestly a great magnifier headset. I was pretty skeptical, as most have pretty mediocre reviews with some drawbacks. I decided to give this one a try because it had a rechargeable battery, different lens, and a strap option. I immediately took the arms off and put the strap on, and put it on. It is actually pretty comfortable as is. The foam could be a tad better, but it wasn’t uncomfortable at all. Then I plugged it in and let it charge. I left it for a day as I had things to do, so I can’t say yet how long it took to charge. But that isn’t really a big deal to me. Then I checked the lens, and they are actually different. They are very easy to pop in and out of the headset, even while keeping it on. That’s a nice feature. I forgot that it had a built in light, so I can’t speak to that part yet. But I have an R9 light above my painting area as well as a magnifier light that I use for side light. I tried out two different levels of lenses while painting some of a dragon that I’ve been doing for a while. The headset is comfortable, and with the strap, I could angle my head in any way I wanted while having the magnifier in my view at all times. It didn’t hurt my eyes, I wasn’t strained to see the tiny details I was looking at, and even afterwards I didn’t have a headache or any discomfort. If you’re looking for a magnifier, this is the endgame for what’s out there. Fantastic price for a whole set that is good quality and actually usable. I was afraid this will be yet another item that gets put away and never used. But I already know I’ll be using it next time I’m painting, so it stayed on my painting desk. Highly recommend.

Comfort and light
I am a Permanent Jewelry Artist and these are a game changer if you are looking for something that is easy, lightweight and has multiple magnifiers as well to choose from. The strap will really come in handy when I have been doing an event all day/weekend because they are a tiny bit front heavy which is to be expected but nice they added the strap. They are compact and come with a set of nose guards for extra padding and ear guards for the ends. Nice product. 5 out of 5

Detail Work So Precise, Santa Asked for the Blueprint
These magnifying glasses are the unsung heroes of my Christmas village renovation project. Rechargeable LED light with two brightness settings? Yes, please. Whether I’m painting a tiny wreath or giving a snowman a personality, the light is just right — not blinding, but enough to make me feel like I’m working under studio conditions. The five interchangeable lenses snap in like I’m assembling a precision instrument for a holiday heist. I put them on and suddenly I’m not just painting — I’m restoring miniature real estate with the intensity of a tiny HGTV host. The carrying case is a classy touch, making me feel like I’m transporting something far more dangerous than magnifying lenses. Possibly secrets. Possibly cookies. Final Thoughts: If you’re doing fine detail work — especially on things as charming and fiddly as Christmas village houses — these magnifying glasses are a game-changer. I can now see every brushstroke, every window frame, and every tiny elf with crystal clarity. 10/10 would recommend. Just don’t be surprised if you start referring to yourself as The Architect of Tiny Joy.

Good item but needs forehead padding
I gave this a four star rating because there is no forehead padding. when you wear it with the head strap it is unbearable to wear because of lack of padding! . I had to make up my own foam piece and glue it on. it is now very comfortable to wear.. wish the Company would’ve thought of this instead of cheating out with a little piece of thin rubber! Other than that, it is a great product works very well. The lenses are high-quality crystal clear!

Best Model Hobby Aid EVER!
I saw this product advertised a few times on social media. It's proven to be the BEST aid for model painting and assembly I've ever had. As I have gotten older, my eyes have gotten a tad weaker. The multiple lenses, small but powerful lights and comfortable 'arms' used in place of an elastic strap all have made this product a winner for me! Even better: All the various lenses, headset and other pieces of this set are contained in a well-designed carrying case that keeps everything well organized [REALLY helpful for a habitually disorganized fellow like myself! ] . Best of all: The battery for the adjustable light that comes off of the headset took over a year to run out, and then? The manufacturer sent me a new one, free of charge! Huzzah! NOTE: If you have this or any other issue with the product, be SURE to send an email DIRECTLY to the VisionAid email address, found on the user manual! Talking to the Amazon folks is a dead end, but talking to the Customer Care reps at Vision aid gets FAST results. These guys are gonna help you, I've been happy to say! Whether I am painting a miniature for an Armed Forces Diorama project, for an RPG game or assembling a model car, ships, plane, or any other project requiring precision detail and a sharp vision, the Vision Aid has proven invaluable to me over any other product in terms of versatility, dependability, durability and applicability. In my opinion, this product is a MUST have for the miniature/model hobbyist in your life. This is NOT a product you'll buy and put on a shelf, but use again and again. Thank you, Vision Aid, for helping me have a greater sense of pride in my hobby and all I can do with it! JDM

Magnifying glasses
They work well I find that having them on I can’t see items that I have beside me like that paint as I am painting I have to get use to taking them off to see two things at the same time.

Don’t fit well over glasses
The magnifiers were very good quality and worked well. The description said this would fit over my glasses and did not. This was a selling point for me so I was disappointed. I returned the magnifying glasses without difficulty. If you don’t need to wear over glasses these are a good choice.

So far, so good.
I am a piercing artist and I get up close and personal with small, hard to see places like nostrils and curves of the ear constantly. Lighting and sharp vision are an essential part of my career! I am excited to put these bad boys to use and see how well they function in the field! As of now, here is a breakdown of what I see of this product. I have included pictures and a short video as well. Overall: They appear fairly sturdy considering the obviously low-cost plastic. All parts that should move do so appropriately. All parts described are in tact. Magnification is clear and brightly lit for close range functions. These seem perfect for close-range detail work. They seem great for things like tattooing and piercing, gem setting, miniature painting, MUA fine detail, manicuring, or other fine detail inspection. Interchangeable Headband/Ear Bars: These parts lock into place with a simple tab-type button that clicks into a hollow slot. You press the tab back in to slide the pieces out. Tabs are a good size and do not look like they will wear out without abundant use. The ear bars are made of the same low-cost plastic as the unit, and seem like they may become uncomfortable fairly quickly under the combined weight of the unit. The headband is like any other elastic headband you might find on a tool intended for head wear. It is adjustable with a sliding strap and seems to hold the weight of the unit fine without being overly tight on the head. I can not be certain, but it seems possible that the elastic strap may lose elasticity fairly quick. I will very likely be more partial to the ear bars than the strap for my conditions. I will update this with comments on their comfort/field function after I spend some time using them! Light/Brightness: These have two brightness settings that can be adjusted by pressing a button. One press for dim, two press for bright, and three press for powering off. They are quite bright at close range, but would be fairly useless at a distance much more than one foot. The light is not terribly adjustable. It can focus straight in front of you, and can be adjusted to downward angles. It clicks fairly well into several positions. It feels like whatever feature allows the light to hold steadfast in an adjusted position may wear out quickly in a way that they no longer hold their position tightly. This will NOT affect them in the straight ahead position. Lenses: The lenses are all the exact same magnification. They feel very durable and seem to be made of a good quality material. They are absolutely crystal clear! I have a mild astigmatism in both eyes (my readers are 1.25 in each eye), and I can very easily and clearly see the lines of my finger tips! The field of magnified view is pretty wide and comfortable for close-range tasks. The lenses have a simple tab that slides into a channel and are held in by pressure. The do not seem to lock into place, but do seem pretty tightly fit. The materials of the tab and insert are fairly good quality, and should last/be functional for quite some time. The lens piece is also adjustable in a way that allows the user to switch quickly between magnified view, and sliding up for regular view. There is no locking mechanism for this, and they may wear out over time. This would only make it so that the glasses can not flip up for regular view. They would still be fully functional for magnified view. Charging: The charging cord is a micro USB type port just like many cell phones. The cord provided is only about 8 inches long. There is a convenient red light near the charging port that confirms that the unit is charging. I am assuming that it changes colors when charging is complete. I will update with approximate charging times after using it for a bit, but it did arrive with enough charge to use immediately. Nose Cushions: The nose cushions are metal with a layer of a rubber-like material coating them. They bend fairly easy to fit your unique nose shape. They seem fairly comfortable at first wear. There is an extra set of nose cushions provided (not pictured) that can be used to increase comfort. The extra nose cushions are made of a material similar to the clear rubber-like cushions on most prescription glasses. They are shaped like a pill capsule, and seem to just slide on to the existing nose cushion. I have doubts about the ease of installation and comfort of these additional cushions. The shape seems awkward, but I have not tried them yet. Carrying Case: The case is sturdy, durable, and convenient! The case itself is a soft material containing a hard shell. The zipper is a lower quality plastic vs metal, but moves smoothly and easily. There is a net on the top part of the case that holds the small loose parts like charger and nose cushion accessories. There is a plastic form that holds the unit and pieces pretty well in place. I would not advise throwing this piece away or else everything will slide around inside the case, possibly causing damage. As I use this product I will update!

Awesome product! Must have for cross stitchers!
Bought this for my cross stitching on 32 count linen. Love at first use!! I don’t know why I waited so long to buy this. Can use this for hours without issues. Clear lenses and the light has two options that is bright enough for what I need it for.

Works really well, generally great, not comfortable on my nose.
I am very pleased with my purchase. It was out of stock for ages but I'm glad I held on to buy one of these instead of a dubious alternative. The sturdy carrying case is a nice touch. I'm a glasses wearer so getting the arms off was quite a challenge, but hopefully I'll never need to fight those again. The elastic headband is nicely adjustable. The lenses are great, easily interchangeable, and work really well. As expected, the higher the magnification the closer the diatance you have to hold your item to focus on it, so you have to bear that in mind when selecting one, but there's a good range. I'm using mine for micro crochet and it has made such a difference in what I can manage. I wish it had a USB-C charger not an old fashioned micro USB, as the lead supplied is very short, and it would be easier to charge with one of the many USB-C leads lying around, but it's not a big problem. My only issue is the nose rest isn't adjustable and gets quite uncomfortable. It takes a bit of effort to get it on so its not pressing my glasses into the bridge of my nose, but even when that's not happening it is unpleasant after a short time. I tried adding the silicone padding supplied but the glue was wholly useless and the silicone pads fell off in under 5 seconds and wouldn't stick back on, at all. I have resorted to padding with a bit of cotton wool, which is not at all glamorous and still not very comfortable. Not worth deducting a star for but it does limit the amount of time I can wear this otherwise marvellous gadget and is the reason I'm always pleased to take it off.
