Had so much fun with these this last summer, brought much enjoyment. Plus we gained a lot of knowledge as we would research the different humming birds we would see. Easy to make your own nectar and watch these amazing birds. The ant guards worked as designed, and were easy to clean. There appearance we great and fit perfecting hanging from our eve's in front of windows. Yes, you have to be a bit creative in hanging these, but well worth it.

I’ve bought and tried many feeders over the years and this is by far the best imo! Other feeders attracted wasps, even though they touted they wouldn’t. I believe what’s key in this particular feeder is the yellow flower pieces on top of the openings-they really do work to keep wasps away! I did end up buying an ant moat and filling it with oil and also using fishing line to ensure no ants would crawl down to the feeder. There are very sturdy but do not recommended to put the reservoir in the dishwasher however-It will warp:( I may have already reviewed this product a couple years ago lol just don’t want to hit the back button to check, but it is worth an updated review bc I tried others, including glass but keep coming back to these! The size is ideal too- I boil 2 cups of water and then mix in a 1/2 cup of sugar (which fits almost perfectly in this feeder). During really hot weather (above 85°F), I change the nectar solution every couple days. You can double that recipe and store the other half in the fridge and let come to room temperature before filling second feeder when it’s time to change nectar. Another reason I give this five stars is you get two feeders for a pretty reasonable price, making it easy to switch them out. I wash feeders with warm soapy water and let dry completely. If I’m running a load of dishes, I will put the bottom red bases on the top rack because those are dishwasher safe! Another plus is these do not leak-You just have to make sure you press the bottom into the base and hear it snap! Another plus is the red and yellow really attracts these sweet little hummingbirds❤️ Hope this is helpful:)

Humming birds like it. Good for them and good for me

Very durable, birds seem very attracted to its color. Doesn’t rust and is easy to clean. The kids love watching them come and eat.

It is very solid. The perches are big enough there feet won't get stuck. It is made of very solid plastic That means birds will not be getting any plastic partials. The flowers are softer and the hole for feeding is big enough beak won't get stuck. The feeder is perfect. But the only thing - is the base comes apart for cleaning and that is kinda tough. I am sure it will get better with use but till than I am going to coat the seam with vegetable oil. Still I am very happy and would buy again. Note I already got 1 that was junk and cost more, This is much better and I got 2 for less. OK, 3rd day with home made feed. Day 2 and 3 I already had a pair of humming bird. OK I have had it some time now but was not able to separate the base for cleaning. I asked and they said it twists apart. Today I found out it does not. With base apart, look at center of fill. There's kind of a button. Push on it while holding top it will pop apart. It is a compression fit and will snap back together.

These are just what I needed to attract the hummingbirds in my neighborhood. They are easy to clean and fill. Works great.

Hummingbirds fed at this all summer. Perfect size. Even though it's plastic it held up great and is easy to take apart and clean. Having a perch is a main selling feature for me. The ant moat part is useless. I bought an extra large ant moat which kept the ants out of the feeder. I didn't notice any yellowjackets trying to get to the sugar water.
