Dr. Prepare Camping Shower, 4 Gallons/15L

This was great while it lasted, but broke way too soon.I used it for a total of 3 or 4 bags full of water. Then the pump part broke. The air flap broke off and the valve became faulty and no air or water would reach the spray handle. Also, from the get-go the attachment at the spray dispenser leaked.I should have listened to the other reviewers. Faulty parts that break easily are most likely why this is no longer in stock as of July 2024, I would not recommend buying this item if it becomes available again. Wish I could get a refund.

Love this camp shower and even better the customer service when we had an issue with a small hole in the seam of the foot pump. We use our camp shower to water our flower beds and patio containers. I live in a senior community and do not have access to a hose and would have to lug jugs of water back and forth to the outdoors. With the camp shower my assistant that helps me easily just fills up the bag and off she goes without having to run back and forth to fill multiple jugs. It will be too heavy for many seniors to carry full but is perfect for a younger person to carry and set it down and water the plants. The customer service responded quickly to our dilemma when a small hole in the seam appeared in the foot pump making it unusable to pump water but they kindly and quickly replaced the whole camp shower even though we only requested a replacement foot pump and we were even willing to pay for the part. We are so happy with this company and how well they communicated with us and they said that they would be sure to pass our info along to the engineers for how to improve the product. Would purchase again!

I was hopeful that this shower would work well, but it didn't quite live up to expectations.The Good:- The concept worked well; it was easy to fill and when it worked, was easy to clean ourselves off.- The nozzle sprays fairly narrow...like about 2" in diameter, but that was fine.- The amount of flow was good enough to rinse off soap easily.The Bad:- Unfortunately, the air pump had a hole in it from the beginning. I didn't realize this at first but gradually realized the pffft sound wasn't normal. The only noise you should hear is the air gurgling into the tank. Over time (like after the 2nd use), the Pfft sound became louder and the gurgling air going into the tank was getting less and less.-The air intake to the pump took a long time to refill. It would get plugged or blocked and it wouldn't inflate. This meant we'd have to wait 30-60 seconds to step on the pump again to get more water out. Meanwhile, we're just standing there waiting.- When pressurized, water would leak out of the fittings at the bottom. Not much, but that shouldn't happen.

I was only able to use it about 6 times before it broke beyond repair. The biggest issue is that there are no couplings that connect the hoses, just push on fittings. So for storage, the hoses won’t coil up right, and the hoses have a tendency to pop off when under pressure. I don’t remember what the final damage was but the last time it broke I decided to move on to a different product.

This item was purchased for people who are having to camp out at home without running water while their house is being rebuilt after a fire.When I received it, I tested it to make sure it wouldn't leak before giving it to them. The first thing I noticed is how the strap handle on top was fastened to the body of the water bag. I can see that using that to move it will be likely to cause issues before long. I created a holder with a strap using web straps to sort of make a basket to support the weight of the full item from the bottom up. Perhaps they figured people wouldn't move it full after leaving it in the sun to warm up but they are going want privacy so it will definitely be moved.It remains to be seen how long it will last without leaking. I realize that part of that will be how carefully it is handled. It didn't leak upon receipt so it gets 3 stars.
