LOVE this deodorant so much!! It keeps the stink away very well, even in SE Texas where heat and humidity can be a problem year round, feels great under your arm and smells great too. I ran out of my tallow face balm a while back and before the order for more arrived I used the deodorant balm on my face, worked just as well as the face balm. All their products are tallow, real oils and essential oils so they are all great products that can be used without any fear that there are all sorts of chemicals, etc. being put on my just shaved arm pits which is a big no no for most deodorants, you absorb even more of any and all, good or bad ingredients that are in the product when you are freshly shaved. I also have problems with smells, most of the time must have unscented everything but this does have a bit of smell but it is pleasant, not over powering and if I can wear this without problems just about any can!! Just ask my family, it drives them crazy that I have such issues with all smells and deodorant smells that are warming under your arm and coming up through your clothing can be very over powering and believe me, I have gone through and tossed so many because there actually was some smell I could not tolerate in the unscented deodorants. With Vintage Tradition deodorant balm I do not really notice it after a while and I have no worries as I do with other deodorants about chemicals. The aluminum thing is controversial but I say, if there is a possibility that it can contribute to Alzheimer's disease then best to avoid the stuff on the shelves and stock up on my Vintage Traditions. i sweat an amazingly gross amount and i'm allergic to store-bought antiperspirant. it gives me huge painful bumps under my armpits when i wear it. so i'm constantly trying to find a natural deodorant that will work, as i'm also sensitive to baking soda which is in 99% of all cream formulations. i learned this from getting huge rashes in my armpits from "natural" cream deodorant that made it impossible to wear deodorant at all. UGH. what a stinky and painful ten days that was.my best luck has been with coming up with my own spray-type deodorant that works fabulously, but it doesn't exactly keep you dry and you have to reapply it throughout the day. i wanted to have something longer lasting and lower maintenance in my anti stink arsenal for those days when you can't reapply as often.i was very shocked by the price tag on this one, but it had amazing reviews, so i bit the bullet in hopes it would be the last cream type deodorant i would have to buy. after three days i can say that it will be. it isn't an antiperspirant, so you will still sweat, and it has a herbaceous smell i'm slightly not fond of (and i say this is as a maker of natural products - its mild though)... but it really really works even in the dead of summer. will definitely, absolutely be repurchasing.

I have been search for a safe, effective deodorant for quite some time and no I don’t have to look any further! The tallow deodorant is amazing. Lasts and doesn’t break out my skin.

I love this deodorant! I have used this brand for several years. I love that it is made from natural ingredients. I used to make my own deodorant but something in mine started bothering the skin under my arms. That is when I went on a search for alternative. Each jar of Vintage Tradition lasts me several months (maybe up to 4-6 months). I have met the owners/makers of this deodorant a couple years ago when they gave me a couple large garbage bags of the leftover beef remnants/fat from their batches for my dog. They use the real animal products and this is time intensive to make! I also recommended this to my mom as she wanted a natural deodorant. The others she used either didn't work very well or were causing her irritations/rashes.

Love this product! I have been using it for the past week and I will continue to purchase this product in the future. The main scent I notice is lavender. My underarms are sensitive and this cream does not bother my skin at all. I live in Alabama and after a long day with humid weather, I do not smell! I do sweat but that’s expected of an all natural product. Worth a shot for all those wanting an all natural deodorant and for those trying to reduce their plastic waste.

Love the concept of this product. Unfortunately it did not work for me. After three days of body odor I was going to return the product. Unfortunately it does not qualify for returns. Very disappointed.I notified seller and they worked with Amazon to fix glitch and I was given a full refund.

At last, a natural deodorant that really works! This stuff is magic. I'm using the women's scent, very mild earthy, herbal fragrance. Does not "carry" or compete with my perfume. A tiny bit is all you need. I can use immediately after shaving and no sting, no rash. It absorbs to leave no residue to transfer to clothing or show on skin. My underarms are smooth and soft now, not a separate "combat zone" segregated from the rest of my body. What a relief to finally find a natural deodorant I can stay with forever!

I’ve tried lots of different natural deodorant products but they either burn or I end up smelling. This Croatian doesn’t appreciate being odiferous at the end of the day! Not only does this product NOT burn my underarms but I never notice any offensive smell or underarm moisture, and I can use it every other day and still get results.
