They just click together and separate instantly. Simple. You just remove the stickum strip on two of the 3M strips and and stick two of them where you want them on the back of the FastTrak toll road device. Then you remove the backing off of the other two and lay them face down with the stickum side up. Just lay them don't click them. Then align and lay the see through bracket non top of the stickums and press down to lock them in place. Done. This should work on any toll pass window device. Great product. This item worked perfectly for me. it was also one of the less expensive options available.
