**Q: I have a recipe that calls for 6 tablespoons of liquid red food color.  If I use this gel instead, how much would I need to equal that?**
A: Red is a hard color to use you may have to use more then six table spoon until achieve the color u want

A: My experience with this food coloring ended up a darker pink color instead of red. I needed a good red color to make Elmo cupcakes for my nephew and was disappointed when the frosting came out pink. Good luck.
