Loved the look of the pole with flags and we purchased the light...But I don't like the fact we can't unlock the sections to take the flags down when needed...Also we just had a small thunder storm with very little wind and the pole bend in half and fell to the ground...I wouldn't buy it again for that reason...We are very dissappointed considering the cost of the assembly and used only a few months (3months). It's only guaranteed for 30days I think,Loved the flagpole and light...It is stunning with the american flag, and Air Force flag together flying in the breeze..My husband retired from the Air Force after 23 years and we are very patriotic..

I ordered this pole because my husband has been saying that we need one because the one sticking off of our house was not very practical. I decided to give this one a try and it turned out great. This is a very sturdy and well made pole that can really withstand the elements. We live in Maine and the weather can be brutal at times so seeing how this pole has been handling it so far gives me hope that it will last for quite a while. The installation process is simple and easy and doesn’t take long at all. My husband was able to do quickly and with minimal effort. The quality seems to be really good and I was not able to find any defects or issues with it. The pole comes with everything you may need including an actual flag. Overall, we like this product very much and are completely satisfied with this purchase.

Update, August 2023:Had them for a little over a year and the locking mechanism on the pole sections broke on two or three sections on either pole. The sections were just fall down overnight and I would have to re-extend them in the morning. Finally they just don’t like anymore. I had to take the poles down, extend them out and put sheet metal screws on both sides of each section to lock them in. They stood up pretty well in some pretty stiff wind so far. They have yet to bend, and I’ve actually got them up at full extension now that I screwed them together. Hope they last a little longer.The other downside to this pole is the inability to fly the flags at half staffThese polls look great.They bend pretty much in a fairly Stiff Wind. I’d hate to see what happens when it gets really windy.I purchased a poll top LED light and I’m pretty happy with whites Apple flags pretty well at night that was a separate charge.Two things I don’t likeThe swivel on the top of one of the polls seems to stick a lot and I have to twist the pole to unwrap the flag multiple times.Also once the poles are up in position it is very difficult, in fact I found it impossible to loosen the bottom section from the second section from the bottom.I literally have to slip the whole pole up and out of the sleeve to make any adjustments. Hopefully I figure out how to get it loosened up and have it stay in place and not slip down on its own.Satisfied with my purchase might spend the money and get some thing a little more stable next time but this was a good value.

We’ve only had this flag pole for 3 months and we’re on the second flag. This picture is how it was permanently leaning when I got home from work yesterday (not just blowing in the wind), and as of this morning it’s completely broken. The first flag ripped maybe a month into having it up and the second one also ripped. I highly recommend spending the money to get a better quality that lasts!

This is exactly what I was looking for and expected! Easy to install, functional and has held up to two major weather disturbances so far. Love the look!

Bought this in March or 2024. I really happy with it. I have taken it down before heavy storms. Comes down very easy as long as you do not over tighten it. Doesn't need to be twisted much to tighten. Seems to be a great design. As long as it holds up over the years I think it will be well worth the $ I spent.

The adjustment parts of the pole are stuck. I have to take the pole completely out of the ground in order to put up my flag. Not worth it in my opinion. Buy a pulley system and save yourself the hassle.

I love the black look. Very easy to install. My last one from a different maker broke during high winds. This one seems to be more robust and easier to raise and lower.
