LG-03 Globe Himalayan Pink Crystal Rock Salt Lamp 6~8 lbs with Dimmer Control Switch, Quality Gift Packaging

Got 2 of the globes, and several of the raw chunk salt lamps. They’ve been in constant use for a few years.They do seem to help air quality a bit, but, without instruments to measure that, it’s subjective opinion.Our area has had very bad air pollution from 4-lane road, & a commercial compost operation run badly....these, and more salt lamps in house, has helped keep asthmatic reactions much less than if these weren’t here. We had no salt lamps for the first several months here...the asthma episodes were a bit more before putting in salt lamps, than after.In order to work, and to prevent humidity damaging them, they must have a lightbulb on, inside them, all the time. I got 15 watt bulbs to put in them during winter cold, & 4 watt bulbs to put into them during summer heat. Those keep the salt just warm enough, to prevent humidity damaging the rock-salt.

First of all, I love the product. I now have several of these beautiful, salt-lamp globes throughout my home and have brought one to my counseling office, as well. My clients comment on the lamp's warm beauty and calming glow. Secondly, I highly, highly recommend this company. When my large, heavy order of many globes arrived to my home, I discovered that there were a few minor problems with a globe or two. Inside the large box was a printed note from the company that invited the customers to contact the company if there were any problems with their product(s). Feeling a bit annoyed and disappointed, I took a chance and called the phone number given-- on a weekend (!). I expected to get a recorded message and to leave a message but, alas!, a friendly, true-to-life man answered, patiently listened to me, was most apologetic and gracious, and promised to correct the problems and additionally promised me a small refund due to a particular issue. I believe he even might have been the owner of the company. In a few days, after our friendly & helpful conversation, the corrected product arrived and I'm a very happy customer! I think this is an outstanding company. I'm impressed by their professionalism and rare integrity. I think such integrity is rather hard to find these days. Needless to say, I highly recommend this company and the products they offer. I will, most definitely, purchase more of their quality products.

I have various salt lamps in almost every room of my house. Most are the rough single lump or the basket with small chunks. I am happy to add this sphere to the collection. It looks very bland when not lit, but once you switch it on, it looks amazing. A decent amount of light gets through showing off all the unexpected patterns in the salt.A couple issues with this particular unit: the cord and light receptacle are NOT UL stamped and look a bit dodgy to me, so I will be replacing it with a standard set from the hardware store. Also, there is a screw-in plastic plate to hold the light socket into place inside the globe. This is a clunky and annoying set up. The screws are very small and the plastic plate is already cracked broken. I am hoping the replacement cord I plan on getting will have the usual spring-tension pieces around the socket so I can get rid of the plastic plate completely.I'd have given this a 5 if the electrical part of the lamp was in better shape.

A beautiful lamp with beautiful & quality packaging for any setting. I love the nice glow and the ionizing effects. I bought it for my bedroom, but the one I got was lighter than I would have preferred and so is too bright for the bedroom because it don't have dimmer switch to dim the bright. It looks really good on my kitchen counter though, and I might even put it in the bathroom for a nice nightlight. It is heavier than I imagined so the Amazon box was somewhat banged up which made me nervous, but the light was in another, heavier box which I think really helped and the light was just fine. I love my lamp, it looks like a little planet sitting on my counter, so cool and I'm hoping it will help with air purification as it says it should. hard to say for sure on that end, but as a light I really love it and will probably get more. I notice that since it is thick, it takes awhile to warm which is necessary for the ionization to happen so I may have to leave it on all day. All in all I am very satisfied.

Got this as a gift for my brother and he loves it! I have quite a few regular rough shaped Himalayan Salt Lamps but I plan to buy another one of these spheres to add to my collection. His bulb needed replacing within a week but thats expected with filament bulbs and the jostling that goes with shipping. It is a 15 watt bulb but I usually replace mine with 25 watts as it is the interaction with the heat and salt that makes it do its thing (hotter is better IMO). This has a dimmer (just like the ones i own) and I do not go all the way to high as a precaution. Also note that the huge 10lb plus ones lose their effect because the outside remains cold. This one is perfect.

Okay, so I don't know how in the world I'm going to change the light bulb on this thing. It's screwed shut. It looks like shotty crasftsmanship.. it's not like the kind you can easily squeeze and take the light bulb out of. The switch does not allow dimming. The other negative is that the plug itself is super dirty and used looking. Other than that, it's nice and big, solid, in good shape, a nice dark shade of orange, and very pretty. I'm overall happy with this purchase. I'm still worried about changing the bulb though, might have to update my review at a later time.

The lamp is just what I wanted. I had one but wanted a second lamp to place symmetrically on my mantle. It is the same size. It is a pleasant surprise that the light is adjustable so I can make the light as bright as I want. What surprised me is that the lamp gets very warm. My other lamp has never gotten warm. It worries me a little bit. That is why I have it 4 stars rather than 5 stars.
