Motorcraft - Motor Assy (P) (YH1800)

Same as oe part. Be aware there are two different parts, depending on your vehicle.

The YH-1800 is the correct actuator for the MANUALLY-CONTROLLED temperature settings -- It's NOT for the Automatically-controlled units.Notice the ORANGE sticker that says "MAN" on the lower-left side. That tells you that this is the correct actuator for the systems that have the red/blue temp-control KNOB.Actuators with a WHITE sticker (YH-1766) on the actuator are marked "ATC" (Automatic Temperature Control) on the lower-left side of the sticker. It's a HUGE pain to install this thing, but the results are well worth the effort !!The AC and Heater are now working perfectly, regardless of outside temperature.

Genuine motorcraft part. Replaced the broken original, and it works perfect several months later. I don't see this lasting any less than the 15 years the original did. Always go OEM!

Being the owner of 4 Ford vehicles, I’ve learned my lesson about using cheap aftermarket parts. Buying OEM replacement parts is the only way to do a proper repair, and this Motorcraft blend door actuator fixed time right up. Just be prepared if you intend on doing this job yourself, might take you a while. But this product won’t let you down.

Sucks getting to where you can replace it but that’s not the part’s fault.

Works amazing, OEM quality hot and cold air! Install this puppy( it only takes 2-5hrs) and bam! You have the ability to choose your cabin temperature!!!

After spending 3 hrs installing the part, upon starting the car I did not hear the actuator motor activating to "find home" and calibrate the internal position reference resistor. A self-check from the automatic climate control head returned a "024" fault -- "Blend Door Short". DO not buy for a 2011 Crown Victoria with automatic temperature control. $58+ wasted; my fault; should have read the reviews to see that it's the manual version.
