After trying many lumbar and postural pillows for support I’d just about given up, when this pillow caught my eye.At first, I was highly skeptical of an inflatable pillow. It reminded me of those chairs they used to sell at Spenser’s in the mall. However, after thinking about the idea I decided to give it a try, it was offered via Prime so there wasn’t anything to lose if it didn’t work.I’m pleased to say this little inflatable pillow offered almost instant relief, once I let a little extra air out. The trick is finding the right amount of inflation to fit exactly where you need the support; for me that’s about 1/3 full. I was able to easily sit for longer without nearly as much pain, and bring it with me in the car whether driving or as the passenger.So glad I took a chance on trying this - I had just about given up on finding a lumbar pillow to provide real support and pain relief, the memory foam type never provided much for me personally and the ability to really contort this pillow has helped with sitting in dining chairs, leather couches, cars and anywhere I’ve tried it so far. We have a cross country round trip flight in October and I was desperately searching for something that could help me make the flight without being in so much pain when we arrived that I couldn’t enjoy myself, and with the ability to remove the air and fold up into my carryon is so helpful.The microfiber cover is ok, I’ll prob purchase a separate one that matches my decor more and makes it seem like less of medical pillow but there’s nothing wrong with it.
