Fast and Fresh

Robust yeast I've used for IPAs, Red's and other ales
As a precaution, for my IPAs I double up and use two of these for a five gallon batch of beer. Have been storing in the fridge and they are still working well a year later.

great tasting beer from this yeast
this is my go to yeast,i actualy use us 05 when they recommend other yeast,hop flavors really pop out.we do a rye beer rye bit really stands out with this yeast.expiration date is always good.ferments beer great,i use onepackif beer is around 1060 6percent range,any higher i just use two packs.

Dry and clean
Love using dry yeast for the brewing process. Store cool and dry, keeps for years, no rehydrating, no starter needed, not oxygenation needed. Sprinkle on top of cooled wort and off you go. US-05 starts quickly under good conditions and attenuates well. Dry and clean.

If you know, you know
What else can be said about US-05 that hasn't already been said? It ferments clean, allows hops to come forward, it's cheap, and it is easy to pitch and use. For the past 2 years, 75% of my beers have been fermented with dry yeast and they have all come out high quality. Use this yeast in pretty much any hop forward or American style ale and you will not be sorry.

Great Yeast, poor supply chain.
The is a great yeast for pale ales and IPA, I’ve used it for many years. My Nov. ‘25 shipment is not working, the yeast is dead.
