I’ve used several pairs of MMA and sparring gloves over the years — from budget mitts to premium gear — but the RDX MMA Gloves (Sparring Grappling, Open Palm) have quickly become one of my favourites. They strike a really good balance between comfort, protection, and versatility. I first got them because I wanted gloves that would work both for grappling drills and striking work — and these delivered without compromise. The open‑palm design gives me freedom and flexibility, which makes ground work and clinch sparring feel natural and controlled. The Maya Hide leather feels tough yet comfortable, and after several sessions of bag work, pad drills, and sparring, the gloves are holding up well without showing signs of wear. The adjustable wrist support is a big plus for me. It keeps my wrists stable when throwing punches or applying grappling pressure, which reduces fatigue and boosts confidence during training. The fit is secure but not restrictive — I don’t feel my hands getting cramped, even during longer sessions. Another thing I appreciate is the balance between padding and responsiveness. The gloves offer enough cushioning to protect knuckles and hands during strikes or impact, yet they’re still responsive enough that I don’t lose sensitivity or control when grappling or switching between grips. Overall, these RDX MMA Gloves are a dependable choice for anyone practising martial arts, whether striking, grappling, or a mix of both. They’re comfortable, durable, and adaptable — a solid piece of gear that makes training sessions more effective and a lot more comfortable.

Bought this for a family member, they seem to be happy with the quality and find them comfortable. They fit them very well and the material is durable and padding makes it feel comfortable. Good material and good value for money.

Great for the price

Great looking gloves and they are my second pair. Only problem is after 12 or so months the material peels which can be a nightmare. But for the price, that’s all you can expect.

Great product for beginners in MMA, in comparison to my more expensive gloves in some ways I do prefer these RDX ones they fit well and feel comfortable when striking/grappling/wrestling - may be only a personal issue but I did find that my thumb was coming out of the strap sometimes. For new beginners in regards to sparring these are a great glove and I would recommend highly for the price however be aware these have slightly thinner padding than other sparring gloves to be mindful of power when using as the padding is thin and firm.

Really good quality gloves, perfect for Blaze classes, sturdy, protect your hands and knuckles well, but also very cool design and comfort. I have also bought black insert gloves to protect my hand from rubbing and scratching when boxing. LOVE them and highly recommend them!!!

I only use these for bag work but with the open palm I am able to alternate between the chin bar and bag for a good "no weights" workout without removing the gloves.

This is one of the best gloves in this price range. If you are just starting or thinking of trying mma out then I 100% recommend this gloves. They are very comfortable and well padded, I’ve had used them for some weeks and they are very durable and easy to put on and off. If you’re just starting training this will be the best gloves to get.

I'm new to boxing & have always avoided it when my workout challenges had combat, mainly because I didn't have gloves/punching bag. Decided to get a bag & needed gloves. I specifically wanted gloves with open hands as the challenges I do have combination of combat/weights. Saw these & thought I would give them a go. They are perfect! They fit my hands perfectly (be sure to follow the sizing instructions!). In addition to a great fit, they are very comfortable. Gave my first combat workout a go & it was so much fun, worked up a huge sweat. The gloves protected my knuckles & they worked perfectly for the transition to weights. Hubby got a pair as well and he loves them. I would buy these again without hesitation. Hands got pretty sweaty so make sure you give them a good wipe with a damp cloth (don't try to wash them in water) after you are done.
