I bought this product to go along side the sink in the kids' bathroom. We have cabinet pillars on the sides sitting on top of the counter, so we cannot put the towel bar or ring on the wall at the end of the counter now that we have redone the bathroom. I did not want to drill into the wood of the pillar cabinets or have a wet towel touching the painted wood.I started the search for a freestanding towel bar. First, I learned that some are too short and tiny for normal hand towels. These appear to be for "finger tip" towels. Tiny towels won't work for my kids and they are too short: my towels were dragging on the counter. Second, I learned that these types of towel racks have different styles. I ordered one with a cross bar across the top and the towel goes over the T-shape top. I didn't like how the top and middle of the "T" got in the way of my getting to the towel. Some also have a hook shape, but I didn't try these, as I like the look of the circle loop like this one best.This particular product comes in at the right height for the job! My towels in the picture are 26.5 x 15. They do not drag at the bottom. Now that it is in working order, I really like it. It is sturdy. I can put two towels of different colors on it, so my kids can each use their their own towel on the same stand. I might get another and have the kid towels facing forward and flip them around to the other side when someone comes over to visit. That would save me having to change out the towels when I have visitors.At first, I did have some issues with putting it together. I only got one washer. It feels like it should have two. The washer looks like it fits near the top, so I put it there and it was very tippy. If you get one, notice in the box there is a weighted part that sits low in the box. I didn't even see this at first. Once I put the washer on the very bottom of the weighted part, it worked great! It even has a padded lining to keep from scraping the counter.I think the assembly with the washers could be better, but otherwise, I am very happy with the product. Just follow what I said.

I purchased the oil rubbed bronze and the finish matches my other bronze hardware just perfectly! But what makes me the happiest is it's actually tall enough so that the towels don't hit the counter. I don't have a lot of counter space, so I chose the round (but weighted) base to fit nicely besides the sink without taking up too much room. It was easy to assemble and appears to be sturdy (it won't tip over when you retrieve a towel). Based on the price, I expected high quality workmanship and this product delivered.

Tall enough for a normal size hand towel to be folded in half and it doesn't touch the countertop. Seems well made. Nicely weighted base keeps it in place during use. Good purchase.

The media could not be loaded. I’m very happy with the height of this towel holder and glad I purchased it.The only negatives are the finish and the second ring. I didn’t want a shiny chrome finish, but this brushed nickel finish is matte and could use a little bit of shine. I don’t understand the reason for two rings and would prefer only one, but this one was the only one I could find that met my needs otherwise.Assembly was a little confusing, but we figured it out. You wouldn’t think it would matter which end of the pole was pointing up, but it did. Thankfully, we received the screw and washer necessary to assemble it, unlike some other reviewers.

This was great! Some of these are so short that the towel hangs on the counter. This one is perfect.

This is very sturdy. It is possible I received a used item as no assembly or product packaging included. While it is taller than most, our towels do seem to hit counter. Also the rings on the one I received are way to loose to have it stick straight out therefore the length is from bottom of ring to counter. We actually just drape the towel over the top which does the trick. Would be better if we could remove the rings.

This towel stand is perfect.
