Works well
My brother installed in attic. He built a "box" so to speak to attach to stud on roof. It's quiet and sturdy. He had no problems installing. Time will tell how long it lasts. Hoping awhile.

Came dented
Seems to work well got it installed yesterday with some bending back to form for the guard off the fan blades and moved the fan it self ahead to get the fan off the motor screws definitely use rubber to reduce resonating other than that I’d say read directions do everything you can before crawl up in the attic save time and heat stroke lol

Arizona Attic Space Relief
Living in Mohave County Arizona, the weather can be rather hot 8 months out of the year. The AC unit is running all that time. With the attic fan installed and the fan set ar 110 degrees Fahrenheit. The A/C unit is networking as hard.Instalation instructions were okay, but didn't cover my style of gable vent. I had to do some McGivar procedures to get a platform to installed it on. Otherwise it was easy to install.Over all I'm thus far very satisfied with the product and its performance.

Well built fan
A lot better and more robust fan than the one I had. Runs pretty quiet and smooth. I did put rubber washers on it and think that helps dampen noise. I’m hoping the durability is better than previous fans I’ve had, they only seem to last between 2-4 years.

Great Attic Gable Fan
The media could not be loaded. I replaced my old attic fan with this one , so far I’m impressed with it seams a lot quieter then my old unit after I close my attic door in ceiling I can barely hear it running .

Be prepared to do alot of work to make it run quite!
Item arrived and made alot of noise. Went back to Amazon which had a very lengthy list of trouble shooting suggestions. RED FLAG! Why would you need this if it is a plug and play fan(after adding the electric plug)?Decided to order another fan to see if the quality is this bad. While waiting for the second order to arrive in two days, I worked on the first fan and found the fan blade was not attached correctly (tightened down) and was not correctly seated. Very poor quaility control! After making the adjustments, the fan worked as advertisted and I installed it. Three weeks later it meets all the review marks as listed on Amazon. However, when I tried to return the second unopened box, Amazon said I had to pay a $18.99 UPS shipping charge. Which I did under protest because the first fan if it had come correctly manufactured or checked by quaility control, I never would have ordered the second unit.Bottom line, I should have returned the first fan. Got my refund and installed the second fan ordered after making any adjustments if needed.

Well Made Fan
I thought this fan was well made and felt solid out of the box. Installation was a breeze and fan is quieter that anticipated. Really move alot of air. Would highly recommend !!!!!

Some issues, but I'm now happy
I was excited about this! It exceeds 115 degrees where I live, regularly, and I had a new, USA made gable fan on the way. Upon spinning it by hand, I noticed an occasional "pink" sound. Slightly bent fan, which, after a slight adjustment, vibrated. I called their Customer Service and told them that if they quickly sent me a new fan, I'd do it that way. Nope, two weeks! I sent it back to Amazon for a exact exchange, and had a new one 4 days later.Anything US made starts out with 5 Stars. I subtract 1 for the bent fan and poor Customer Service. I subtract one more because it comes with NO mounting hardware! Every single bolt on this should be rubber mounted. I had to find these and buy them. Have fun...I'm now happy, and the fan runs great, replacing 140+ degree air with 110+ degree air...
