Amazing quality all around
Hey guys! Gotta say thanks for making such a great pair of binos. My vortex broke again(company went downhill and now I won’t buy anything of there’s) so I needed another pair. Had read some good things about yours but when they arrived Wednesday I was still surprised. Everything was super crisp and felt not tight but just perfect. No wiggles or wobbles. Glass was clear and sharp, no color distortion or trouble focusing. Wednesday night we rolled out to hunt the weekend. Thursday morning an hour before sunrise I was spotting elk! The leupold’s and other guys vortex couldn’t even gather enough light and I could tell we had 2 bulls 1400 yards away! We hunted hard and these binos got dirty quick but no scuffs or scratches on the outside and even in the bit of rain or with sweat on my hands they gripped well. Friday these binos proved worth every penny. We weren’t seeing elk and nothing responded to calls but as we got up to leave I glassed a far hillside and there at the crest of the hill was antlers! 5 seconds later they were a mature bull! We sat back down and kept calling and the elk disappeared into a draw before anyone else saw him with their binos. Few minutes later he popped up and at 850 yards I could count all 6 points on each side and judge him and we got ready. He bugled and came running in and my buddy made the perfect heart and double lung shot at 45 yards. We put this bull solely on your binos as without them we wouldn’t have seen this elk for sure and had just left. Another note, the mornings were 30 degrees and never once did they fog up even with our excited breathing right on the lens as we passed em around. I’ll be heading to a wet and hopefully snowy chunk of Washington next month for mule deer and I’m excited to get on a hill glassing with these binos. 3-4 hours each morning just staring through them and never once did I get the eye cramps or watery eyes or whatever else people claim they get. Awesome binos and after only the past 4 days hard use I’d recommend them to anyone! They really blew me away. A upland optics spotting scope will probably be in my future.Dylan

Great glass and good customer service!
I bought these in 2020 and have used them off and on over the last 4 years. In 2024 the front lens just fell off the housing (see photos). They were not dropped or misused in any way. I am baffled. I reached out to Upland Optics about having them warrantied or fixed. It took some time for them to initially respond but they did and they did honor the warranty. I received new glass today and I can’t wait to use them to find that big buck this year. I don’t know why they broke and looking at reviews I wasn’t alone in my experience. I’m glad Upland Optics gave me a replacement as these are great glass.

DO NOT BUY THESE BINOCULARS
I rarely leave reviews, unless a product is really terrible, and these binoculars qualify.I have had the binoculars for 4 years now, and they have only been used for some occasional bird watching off my balcony. Never left outside, or out of the storage case when not in use.The left eyepiece adjustment broke less than a year after ownership, but I decided for the little amount that I actually use them, I would just deal with it.I just today pulled them out of the case to use today and now the right eyepiece broke off entirely when I twisted to adjust the focus. It looks like it was haphazardly glued on and the glue deteriorated? I don't know, and I don't care, they are now in the trash.Definitely not worth the $300 they are charging for a sub-par product. Go invest some of your hard-earned $$$ in something that lasts.

Best For The Money With Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) Glass
Many years ago I considered buying a cheap pair of binoculars until I look through a pair of Swarovski's. And, it was a religious experience. It turns out there's a big difference between "cheap glass" and "class glass". I recently purchased Upland's Perception 10x42 because I wanted cost-effective Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) Glass. And, online optics experts give them spectacular reviews. OPTICSDEN's review of "The Best Binoculars on the Market" give these binoculars their "#1 Recommendation". And, that's comparing them to the world's finest binoculars including, Zeiss, Leica and Swarovski. Of course, they're considering both cost and performance. But, it reveals Upland's binoculars are in a similar category of quality. Upland's HD Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) Glass is manufactured in Japan and the components are assembled in China. I have personally compared these binoculars side-by-side to Vortex's Viper HD 10x42 and Swarovski's 10x42's and all three were spectacular. I'm an amateur photographer who's been shooting through professional grade lenses for almost 30 years. And, I'm a little embarrassed to admit I couldn't discern a significant difference between them. The big advantage to these is you're not afraid to get these wet or take them with you in a bouncing 4WD with dust blowing through the windows. While shopping for binoculars be careful to notice lens materials. You definitely want HD Low Dispersion Glass. There's a big difference between mineral glass costing pennies per pound vs. Low Dispersion Glass that cost hundreds of dollars per pound. Upland's Perception binoculars are outstanding. And, I'd recommend them to anyone. Good luck.

Impossible to get support or warranty service
I purchased these back in September of 2018. Great binoculars while they worked. Recently, the fine adjustment on the right monocular stopped working properly. No problem, it happens. But I have been trying to day to contact someone (anyone) from the company for warranty support and no one ever answers their phone or returns calls. And the same situation with email. To me, that says that the warranty is meaningless because you can't get it repaired is something happens. Great product, but buyer beware if you ever need to reach anyone at the company.
