Essentially perfect
I pulled this out of the box expecting to have to fix the reverse stand issue - which is fine, I bought it fully aware - but to my surprise, it's on correctly. I suppose they fixed the issue for the recent batches? Just placed my Virtual Boy on top and snapped it in place. It and works great and isn't broken in a half dozen ways like the 20+ year old original.

cumple la funcion
Es una manera económica de completar la consola y dejarla en su soporte, el soporte se siente débil, pero en realidad es bastante bueno.

This is easily fixable by removing the screw and rotating the coupling ...
Item shipped quickly and was for a reasonable price. My only comment is that the legs seem to install backwards from what the VB manual suggests (the open end of the legs facing the user and the "point" of the legs facing away from the user). This is easily fixable by removing the screw and rotating the coupling piece by 180 degrees and it has little to no bearing on operation even if it isn't rotated.

Almost perfect, just need one small adjustment
It fits great on my virtual boy, the only issue is that its backward, however that is an easy fix to do.

An improvement over the original
Despite facing the opposite direction of the official Nintendo stand, it seems stable as-is because the legs seem to be angled out far enough to give it enough of a foundation and some resistance should you be pushing against it while playing, which you shouldn't be doing anyway. Plus, it allows the controller to rest comfortably underneath the unit for improved posture. In theory, you can reverse it by removing the two Phillips head screws underneath the clip and flipping it around, but the way it is now, there are two pegs that prevent the legs from collapsing. Reversing the legs would put these pegs on the outside, further compromising its stability. I think Repair Box knew what they were doing designing it like this, and I feel that if Nintendo made the stand like this in the first place, the system would've done marginally better.

It is built backwards
like other people have noted this is constructed in the reverse of the original. It still functions but is totally backwards

I wanted to love this product
I wanted to love this product, but the two interlocking nubs on the base where it clips are too high so the system will not clip in properly.

If it wasn't for the missing 'NINTENDO' logo...
This would be a dead ringer for the original stand. No issues, nothing backwards, just a direct replacement for my plastic chipped broken original stand.
