IT Governance: How to Reduce Costs and Improve Data Quality through the Implementation of IT Governance

There may well be excellent information in this book. Unfortunately I can't tell because at least 50% of the tables/diagrams/graphics (and there are many of them) appear to be copied from another source (a slide deck of the author's?) with such poor resolution and in many cases text that is so small as to render it illegible. Add to this the enormous amount of white space, blank pages and repeated diagrams and, for the price, I feel rather cheated by this purchase. It looks very much like it has been cobbled together in a bit of a rush from the author's thesis and slide decks. In the end, largely useless to me because of the above faults.

Ein sehr exzellentes Fachbuch dass sich mit dem Thema Qualität von Daten befasst u den Kosten die entstehen durch nicht vorhandene datenqualität. Es beschreibt in sehr übersichtlichen u gut strukturierten Kapiteln die Probleme über unvollständige u inkorrekte datenbankeinträge samt deren Lösungen u mehr.all dies in sehr anschaulicher u gut nachvollziehbarer Form,weg von faden schwarz-weiß Bildern mit viel farbigen Akzenten!der Autor bringt sein Wissen dass er über all die Jahre in diversen Firmen u Ländern gesammelt hat sehr gut verständlich rüber!ein Fachbuch dass sicher in dieser Branche sehr guten Anklang finden wird!

The book is poorly printed. Most of the graphs, charts, etc are illegible and blurry. Content is very light in this book. My primary take-away was to purchase other books for any detail. While the book seems reasonable in length, if you remove the forward, index, reference, white pages, and all the graphics, you're looking at less than 60 pages of content with lots of repetition. I finished the book in 6 hours of reading and feel like it was a waste of my time except for a few paragraphs. I respect the author and what he was trying to accomplish here. I wish he gave more anecdotal information to really share his experience.

I found the book very usufull as it is not only easy to read but also becaue the chosen samples showing real-life use cases. It helped me to think outside the box in my environment.
