Can I attach the existing cable to this new shifter? (My shifter lever is cracked but cable is good) Thanks

The shifter comes equipped with an already installed cable, therefore you will have to use the cable that is already attached to the new shifter. It does not take long to remove the old shifter and cable, and then install the new shifter and cable. The new kit even comes with new cable end covers that can be crimped over the ends of the new cables once installed.

Can I thread the new cable through existing tubing?

Yes it unsheathed cable, so save any tubing or sheath and thread it through. Comes with a crimping end cap once it is all threaded.

Is this for sram or shimano drivetrain?

Easy to Install, perfect replacement

Replacement is perfect match for original and looks nearly identical to original. Easy to place on the handlebar with 2.5mm Allen wrench in a single set screw. This includes two new grips as well. Good value for the money. Wire is cleanly cut and easy to thread through the cable guides. Works perfectly.
