I searched high and low to find a beautiful blue kalimba. This one in the photos is exactly what I wanted! The one I received is gradients of iridescent dark purple and dark blue. Keeping it but very disappointed. Maybe I will try to sand off some of the purple and put a shine on it.

My son wanted a kalimba for Christmas. I was concerned it was going to be shoddy, but it is beautiful. The carving is lovely. So is the color. It sounds nice, and the tines are labelled with the notes to help with learning how to play. Very happy with the purchase.

The craftsmanship on this instrument is beautiful! It is surprisingly large, definitely Palm size! I was surprised at its quality! I played a few little musical notes and the sound is beautiful! I don't know how easy it will be to learn it because I bought it for my granddaughter for a gift and I didn't want to pull out the book and open it up so I do highly recommend it if you're looking for something unique for the child who has everything! It's also a perfect instrument for an adult the music tones are beautiful. I might even get me one now!
