I love how nice and neat everything is inside of the case.. the case is the main reason i purchased this kit and also for all the goodies of course, everything seems to work like its intended. I havent had any problems with the threads or using the different tools. Im sure there better quality things out there but do they come in a nice fancy case??? Probably not... maybe they do.. im not sure to be honest but i own a ruger so i felt this kit was only necessary lol in conclusion this item makes a great gift for any new gun owner or even an experienced gun buff, everything works well and how it should, for the price i think its well worth it!

Took my gun to the range and found my Beretta was having issues ejecting shells when using the ones purchased at the range. Cleaned my gun using this kit and a quality 2-in-1 cleaner and lubricant. What a difference! Gun now works flawlessly and shells eject efficiently. The kit seems properly priced and has all the necessary attachments. I used the .357 brush on my 9mm. Very pleased with this purchase. I will note that you have to remember to hold the tray when you open the lid.

I like that is is a River product and great value for the price. Case does not take up much room and work well with my Ruger security 9

Great kit for the money - similar priced items on Amazon and in stores are junk and prone to stripped threads and broken plastic. This is a solidly crafted set of pistol cleaning tools, with all-metal rod and slotted tips, and an actual metal bushing in the plastic handle. Avoid the others in this price range (including the Hoppes branded ones); the all-plastic handles will crack and the plastic slotted tips will break. THIS KIT DOES INCLUDE 22, 32, AND 44 CALIBER. For some reason, the item description on Amazon and the packaging of the item don't mention this, but instead states "5 calibers" lists 38, 357, and 9mm as separate calibers... it has two bronze brushes, a cotton swab, and a slotted tip for 22cal. It does NOT have a bronze brush for a 32, but does have a designated cotton swab and slotted tip. It has a dual-purpose 44/45 bronze brush, 44/45 cotton swab, and slotted tip. CALIBERS: -22 family (223/5.56, 22 Short, 22lr, 22 Jet, 22wmr, etc) -32 family (32acp, 32sw short/long, .327mag, etc) -9mm family (38spl, 357mag, .380acp, 38 super, 9mm para/luger, 357sig, etc) -40 family (40sw, 10mm Auto, etc) -44/45 families (44spl, 44mag, 45acp, 45lc, 45-70, 45gap, etc) PROS: - Almost all metal parts (rod, brushes, tips) - Plastic handle is made to last, has metal bushing (these typically break first) - Small durable case, easy to stow in range bag, sturdy clasps CONS: - Lacks 32cal bronze brush, but has two 22cal bronze brushes? - Rod is short, and may not be suitable for 8"+ barrels - Difficult to remove some parts from case (handle) 4/5 stars because it really ought to have a 22 and a 32 bronze brush, rather than two 22 bronze brushes. First timers, remember to buy lubricant and a barrel solvent/cleaner, and be sure it won't harm your polymer framed handgun! Hoppes is good but there are many other brands that work well. An old dress shirt can be cut up to make a lifetime supply of cleaning patches - don't waste money on fancy ones.

Got this for my wife for Christmas for her model 60 and PX4. She loves to use it after the range and not use mine. Space under the kit to store patches and Qtips. Good quality also.

I bought a new gun and my last kit did not have 9mm sized brushes or a metal rod for patches. This is a sturdy kit and the rod and handle are well made and perfect for a handgun. In fact, the best I have owned.

Came in a clear case that displays all the different options for cleaning my gun. There are several different size in each cleaning option. Fits nicely in my to-do gun bag and can take it with me to the range. The price and quality are great!

Ruger wouldn't put their name on junk. This puppy is well made, unlike much of the competition ! It's compact enough to fit inside the gun case where it belongs. My Ruger deserves this Ruger LOL !
