The Hosoncovy Manual Nut Grinder with Hand Crank is effective and performs the job perfectly.

Very easy to use and clean, it can slip around a bit so you have to hold it firmly and near the edge of worktop/top to have enough room for the handle to go all the way round. Very impressed with how well it cut through hazelnuts and like that it doesn’t need electric or batteries just good old hand power. However, after around a month the first one of these I bought broke, the handle stopped turning. I ordered another thinking it was just unlucky but the same thing has happened after a month again. So I have to conclude that it’s not fit for purpose which is a shame as at first it’s great.

It's ok, you have to use it gently and not do too much at once. It jammed the first time I used it after about 30 mins due to a bent blade but I bent it back. You can't fill it up and put full effort in or the blades bend and it won't work. I did a few at a time and moved the handle backwards and forwards (it is reversible and also works either way up). OK, you can't get the same coarse grind from an electric blender but I don't think it will last long.

Ive gotten through 4 ot 5 of these chopping nuts. The handles are plastic & they just wear & snap. I havent been able to find anything more sturdy with a metal handle attached to the spindle.

I bought this as I needed to be able to grind nuts but not to a flour. Using a coffee grinder previously I found I was unable to control the size of the result. This allows me to determine how often I put them through the mincer and so the degree of grinding. Easy to use, simply turn it over to put them nuts through again. Also does not require power, being a manual device. Excellent. Very happy with the purchase. I am sure you will be also.

Worked ok for a while but now the plastic end of the handle has snapped off - now hard to use

Does what it says on the box , does not grind as fine as I would like but is easy to use.

The plastic component that holds the chopping blades broke during the 3rd use scattering walnuts across the kitchen. It’s made of very thin, cheap plastic that will never hold up past a couple of uses. I’m incredibly disappointed. If there was an option for zero stars, that’s what I would rate this. Absolutely don’t waste your money.

Das Teil kann leider nicht das, wozu es eigentlich hergestellt wurde. Das Mahlwerk ist viel zu schwach ausgelegt, es ist nach kürzester Zeit schon verbogen.

I use this grinder to grind hazelnuts for baking. The grinding action itself works well and the grinder does the job. At the same time it's one of the least ergonomic kitchen tools I've ever used. It's like holding an egg with no way to make it stay put while I grind. The crank itself is too big so my knuckles hit the table if I try to hold it properly. Which I can't anyway since I need more power than I can get while the whole thing moves. So I hold very close to the base of the crank, and once I get it going it grinds nicely. So the grinding function is ok, but the design is horrible.

Unfortunately, this nut grinder has not met my expectations at all, to say the least. Not only is it not suitable for grinding/chopping nuts but the handle has already broken the first time I used it. The material is not sturdy and durable at all. Value for money is a real joke!!!
