shape drew my eye, wanted non teapot shape, works on gas stove, usually just add hot water
Nicely packaged. Really good size. I have the 1500 ml size, which is what I was looking for for quite some time. I wanted something that was larger than the usual itty bitty tea pots. I wanted something I could use for making a good amount of tea, but also could be used as vessel for other needs. I didnt want the typical tea pot shape. This is perfect. Holds 50 ounces! The borosilicate glass is heat resistant and extra durable. I have other kitchen items using this material, and it is great. I ABSOLUTELY use this on GAS stove top. I start with heat on low, then gently bring it up. I dont bother with a high setting as the water will come to a boil at lower temps. However, I use it primarily with electric kettle boiled water. I mainly wanted a tea pot that I can add hot water to, rather than use to heat water.I either use loose tea or sometimes coffee in the filter. The filter, ring, and lid all pop out with ease for cleaning and drying. Can pop out the filter and just use the ring and lid as the topper if you want to use blooming tea. Can use as a sun tea pot. And pretty much anything you want to use it for. Now, I have only been using it a couple of week, pretty much daily. Most of the time I have just added hot water to it. I dont often microwave, and I only tried it on my gas stove top. I havent bothered using it on the stove top because I dont like adding heat to my house when it is already hot and humid out (no air conditioning). Nice for in winter, but we're a ways off from that. And so given my short experience with it so far.. I am in LOVE, and it is working out as well as I anticipated. I LOVE the size and shape. SO glad I found it while searching for others.

Good little teapot
This is good for making 2-3 cups of tea at a time, give or take a bit depending on the size of your cup. It's well made; the top opening is sloped inward and large enough that pouring in water isn't an issue. The holes in the filter are small enough to keep most of the solid particulates out of your tea. It is thin glass, so you don't want to touch the sides of the pot when it's holding hot tea, but it displays the color of the tea nicely. The only issue someone might have is that the solid metal filter means you can't see the tea mix steep. That isn't an issue for me, but I know some people like that.I can't see any of these features really changing or degrading over use, so this is a pretty solid teapot.

Great purchase!
Works great with my infusions! Middle silver container, holds leaves in place and doesn't let them in the water. Glass is sturdy and handles hot water temperature great!

There is no perfect tea pitcher + 50 v/s 34 ounce size.
This is a heck of a nice tea pitcher for only $22.. The thing I dislike the most: the lid exposes the tea to refrigerator air (I bought it to make cold brew tea overnight in the fridge). The other thing I don’t love is you would have to keep it in the refrigerator so it doesn’t sweat all over everything… But not an option because I bought it to take iced tea for the day to work.. I’m looking for a small cooler that I can fit over it (or put the tea pitcher in) to try to insulate it.NIT PICK’S:I’m a purist so I don’t like the plastic lid (rather just have stainless steel or wood).. The tea filter that goes into the pot is removable (thankfully, because I’ve never seen one that was functional.. They don’t let the tea expand properly)..HOW TO IMPROVE:—1—A stainless steel lid that extends down far enough to keep the refrigerator air out of the tea pitcher.—2—The glass handle is nice, but it’s difficult to keep from bumping into things (so it will probably eventually get broken).. This is the place to use plastic.. The solution I see is the way some of the COFFEE press pots work, where the glass container fits inside something else.—3—INSULATION:If the manufacturer were to change the glass handle for the style used on coffee press pots (where the glass part simply lifts out), then the thing that it fits into could be something engineered to insulate (this is the place to use plastic, because it won’t be touching anything I’m eating or drinking..EDIT:I broke the 50oz pot, and replaced it with the 34oz one..The center plastic lid on the smaller pot doesn’t click into place (like the larger pot did).50 OR 34 OUNCE POT:The smaller pot is arguably good for one person, using two or three teabags to make iced tea. But adding ice, the juice from an orange, etc. fill it right up to the top.. I’m in between decision, thinking about buying the larger pot again.. Because on a typical workday I would like to have two fairly large glasses of ice tea.. and not have the pitch filled to the top so I can transport it more easily.

Perfect yet very cheaply made
As much as I loved this teapot sadly it’s a very cheap product. I’m hating to write this review it’s absolutely convenient size and the width wise it’s easy to clean because it has wide opening but it’s so cheaply made it cracks every two weeks I’ve placed orders of this atleast 5 times and now I am done it’s waste of money! When this cracks the bottom delayed from the drop so there’s no way to carefully remove it besides it spilling the contents all over the stove, and mine is milk coffee on electric stove top it’s a battle to clean super hard and smells the entire house, especially in the mornings when I’m running late. If you have an electric stove top I wouldn’t recommend this cleaning is hard. I wouldn’t recommend unless they invest in upgrading the teapot into making it sturdier

Good Capacity and Infuser
So far the COPOTEA Glass Teapot has been exactly what I wanted. I haven't used it on the stove top because I have an electric kettle, but the glass is solid and durable, not flimsy like my last one which broke after a gentle knock while washing. I usually use tea bags, but last night was the first time I used the infuser and I was pleased not to see little bits of tea floating around in my tea cup. That's a big plus in my book. At one liter, the tea pot has enough capacity to handle my morning tea addiction. It's easy to clean too. So, for me, it's a great tea pot.
