Driven Racing Oil BR40 Conventional Break In Motor Oil 10w-40 (12 Quart Bottles)

I used the BR40 to break in a flat tappet, solid lifter cam on a 1959 Chevy 348 W-series big block. Cam survived!

This oil works very well for break in of my rebuilt boxer engine. Others with the same type of cylinder finish using other oils had oil consumption issues. My engine is running great and no oil consumption. Complete initial run in at 2000 rpm for 15-20 minutes, drain oil, change oil filter refill with new break in oil and drive it for 400-500 miles then go to your regular oil. Amazing what drained out of the initial break in so be sure to do that first oil change, highly recommended oil for break in.
