I was hesitant about which sushi boat to buy. There are so many options. And on all of them when you read the comments there's people saying they had a bad experience. I bought the small version of the boat and it's exactly as expected. I only used it once so far so not sure how it will last over time but it arrived in normal condition. No scratches or broken pieces. Easy to assemble. I washed it with dish soap and let it dry and there was no damage to the boat. I was able to fit 5 rolls of sushi nicely on the small version which was perfect as it was for 2 people. Def recommend.

The sushi boat looks great and feels really sturdy! the wood quality is nice, and it was super easy to put together (took me maybe 30 seconds without even looking at the instructions 👀 ). Just a heads-up: it’s 52 cm from front to back, but the actual space for sushi is around 35 cm. The photos are accurate, but I didn’t realize how much of the length is the bow and stern. Still, it’s really cute and perfect for a small sushi setup, just not ideal if you’re planning to serve a lot at once. Worth the money 👌🏼

The wood was broken at the end of the boat. The material is decent, it looks good other than that. It’s broken though.

I ordered it twice and both have deal breakers. For both of the boats, the finish was clearly rushed. The lacquer is extremely thick, uneven, and have globs/bubbles. The first one is warped making the center piece where the sushi sits on not sit flat which then makes the cut outs for the mast and flag not line up. The second one I got came damaged from lack of packaging. There was no buffering between the loose pieces, and the boat, so the boat has scratches from the sharp edges of the mast and flag. There's also a clear pencil or pen guideline marking for where it was supposed to be cut that wasn't removed before lacquering, so it's permanently there.

While it is a good idea and nice design but it is smaller than described!! The length of boat is correct but you do not use the full length to place Sushi on! And the designated area for that is rather small and does not allow more than few pieces! Wish they exactly mention length of that area rather than length of full boat! Since this item is pricey and not cheap!
