Winn International Harness Large Leather Fanny Pack in Black Faux Croc

I absolutely love this fanny pack! We cruise a lot, and I am challenged with carrying everything I need for a day in port, plus ease of removing money, ID, credit cards, etc. This bag has it all, without being "huge" or bulky. It is actually a little smaller in size than I expected, which pleases me. It is also more attractive than it apears in the photo. The main compartment is roomy enough for my larger digital camera, with room to spare. I think my favorite part is the zippered, fold out money/credit card/ID compartment in the front. There are also hidden slots in this compartment for hiding cards and big bills. Since this zippered section is separate from the main compartment and placed in front, it is easy to reach without digging around in the main compartment or removing the bag. When shopping in foreign countries, I like to remove and return my cash or card as quickly as possible, without "flashing" my money, and this will work perfectly. Passports will also fit in this compartment securely, without worry of losing them. The front compartment with velcro fastener appears to be for glasses, but I will find other uses for it, since I don't carry glasses with me. The one thing that I was a little disappointed in is that the front "glasses" compartment is made of vinyl or plastic, not leather. But the balance of the bag is a nice quality leather, and I will not fault it for this. I suppose the front compartment needed to be a little more rigid than the rest. The entire bag is nicely lined. Zippers appear to be very sturdy. This is a well constructed, quality bag that should last for years. I give this fanny pack an enthusiastic two thumbs up! Can't wait to use it!

The purse itself is great. But the belt/strap was substandard and tore away from the bag in less than a week. The straps were NOT properly sewed to the bag. I contacted Amazon who contacted the seller for me. My goal was to exchange the bag for a new one or return the damaged bag AND ALSO RECOVER SHIPPING COSTS that I paid -$13. I am a longstanding Prime Member but this was not a Prime item. My concern was whether I would be reimbursed for the shipping if I returned the damaged bag. The seller told Amazon (per Amazon) that they would send me a new bag ALONG WITH A postage paid envelope to return the damaged bag. That never happened! I communicated back and forth with Amazon until I was blue in the face. Each time, Amazon said they would refer my situation to a specialist. Still, nothing. I gave up. But it still bothers me that I paid in good faith (along with postage) only to receive a substandard bag. I guess I am still hoping the seller will make good - but if nothing else to warn future buyers - BEWARE of these guys. Will write another review if the seller "makes good"

Excellent compact efficient design. This has been my all around purse for years. You can carry it as a handbag, sling it over your shoulder or attach it around your waist when you're short on hands. The center compartment serves as a wallet. Though someone complained about it, the front section does fit one of the tiny reading glasses in its case and the large pocket holds cell phone and other larger items. Just a couple of beefs on the latest design though. On my most recent (third) replacement the back of the bag had been changed to cloth whereas previous versions were all leather. Was that to save money or was it because it might wear better? And even more disappointing, the wallet section was made just the tiniest bit shorter, just enough that credit cards fit too tightly and frequently get jammed in the zipper. Come on Winn if you're trying to save some material don't. I would gladly pay a few dollars more for the previous version. Let me know if you go back to that design I'll immediately buy another, and change my rating back to 5 stars.

I purchased two of these packs over 10 years ago and just purchased a new one (2015). I love this fanny pack and am glad to see that Winn hasn't changed the design. Here's why I love it:***It's wonderfully stylish and goes well with both casual and better or dress clothes.***Although for the normal wear and tear on leather over years of daily use, it's been extremely durable.***It has multiple compartments for carrying a whole array of items. I personally carry a wallet, cell phone and keys and a checkbook on occasion in the main compartment ; a 1 TB portable hard drive in the back or security compartment; pens, change, eye drops, and misc items in the pocket with an accordion-like pockets; and reading glasses in the outermost pocket. Despite the fact that I've way more in this "man purse" than I could ever fit in my pants pockets, it never looks overstuffed.The only thing that would make it better would be to have a slightly bigger outer pocket to accommodate a case forsunglasses. Personally, I wear my sun glasses around my neck when they're off, but some people, especiallythose who don't carry around reading glasses, would undoubtedly appreciate being able to place a case insidethe outer pocket. Theoretically, they could fit in the main compartment, if one didn't have a wallet, cell phone orother items in there already.And, oh yes, I do love that Winn offers a variety of colors.All in all, I consider this pack a great choice and worth every penny!

I purchased this fanny pack thinking it was identical to one I bought three years ago, but was not the same one. The back is no longer leather- it is now fabric. I'm not sure about how well this will wear. The belt and buckle has also changed. The new belt is shorter and seems to roll when worn. The shorter adjuster on the belt does not hold and slips out to the full length. Tends to be an aggravation. All said though it is still the best pack I've been able to find for the money.

Was expecting more.
