Initially I poured a small amount on to my hand and tasted it, but I wasn't convinced that this tasted quite how caramel should. My girlfriend agreed that it was caramel-esque, if you will. We used it anyhow, and it actually tasted more like caramel as I massaged it into her skin. It is easy to clean up, and it doesn't have an overpowering scent. I guess my advice would be, remember that it's a massage oil not a condiment, so don't expect miracles from its flavor. Also, massage a bit of it into your palm and then taste it.

I was very disappointed with this purchase, there was not even a hint of caramel scent or flavor to this oil. I did not meet my expectations and I will not recommend nor purchase from this company again.
