I bought a 23kg bag of washed builders sand to fill these bags up with, thinking I could have bought a smaller sand bag, however I could have done with a 30kg bag as these 4 bags ate it up, so I have 3 very heavy bags and 1 not so heavy bag until I fill it up, so each side of each bag holds between 2.5kg to 3.kg in each pouch making 1 bag weigh between 5kg to 6.5kg each approx.
