I love this knife. I look for reasons to use it. I have an old USA Schrade trapper pocket knife that's always in my pocket, however, I am tempted to run to the garage and grab the NT Cutter instead when the opportunity to use a knife arises. Lol. It is made extremely well and it feels excellent in the hand. As with most Japanese made products the quality, fit, and finish are excellent. The blade is held solidly, no slop to speak of in any direction that would be a problem for precision. The blade cartridge mechanism works great and is very cool and convenient. My only complaint would be that it doesn't have an onboard way to snap the blades. It comes with a separate snapper tool which would be easy to lose track of if you don't keep it in a certain place. I plan to drill a small hole in the snapper tool and put it on a key ring so that I can add it to a set of keys. I'm honestly surprised NT cutter didn't do this from the factory. Seems, obvious it's gonna be easy to lose. All in all, this knife is just awesome. And one of the most satisfying tool purchases I've ever made.

This is my first snap blade knife. I've used #11 exacto's for years, but I needed something different. I saw this knife reviewed by Adam Savage, and its all accurate. Feels nice, easy to reload, and easy to snap the old, dull blade off. It comes with a small plastic triangle tool to help snap the old blade off. 5 stars all day long!!

Great knife all around. The blade change mechanism seems like it may not be necessary until you are in the middle of a job and hav etc use it - it is now a must have and I have ordered a larger NT cutter knife with the same cartridge mechanism. Aluminum body is just right for weight and grip. Only complaint is that is doesn't not have a blade locking mechanism.

Love this knife. Especially the directions on how to reassemble and insert new blade. I misplaced or tossed a critical widget piece rendering an old one obsolete. And it's sharp and sturdy to hand.

I've had Olfa snap off cutters for years. They're the original and I'd always considered them to be the Cadillac. Then my nerd crush endorsed this one on the Youtubes and suddenly I was struck with a fit of capitalistic apoplexy. But I get it now. I looked at my Olfa cutters when I first got them and wondered why they didn't have a blade magazine. I was even surprised because it seemed like such an obvious thing to add. I know they've come out with multi-blade models since...but there's something to be said for not being the first company to innovate something that allows their competitors to focus on actually improving the design. The NT Cutter company obviously agrees with that mindset and it's allowed them to make a superior product. The construction, weight and especially the finer degrees of adjustment over the blade length all tell me that this is the superior product. The XA-1 only beats it on ergonomics due to the shape and all the butylene. But to be fair, the smooth enough form factor of this cutter is a lot easier to get into and out of my pockets and toolbox and also attracts less dirt. The powder-coated aluminum also feels more sturdy but only time and standard abuse will tell. I am thinking of splurging to get the 19mm version of this cutter but the rest of my existing Olfa collection is telling me to resist. I mean, I didn't listen to that voice the last time...but you never know.
