These are outstanding..so solid you’ll think you should be installing them on an army Tank. Great feel when latching, no clanking metal but super solid clasp and hold as if there was rubber between the metal components. What an outstanding product for the money. Coated so they are rust resistant. Hood is more stable than stock latches now. Easy to use, easy to install with a few challenges but not bad. If your grill removes easy, it will make installation of these a snap! Perfect functionality with excellent form…WHAT AN UPGRADE!!!

I have a 2014 rubicon 2dr. The IEM hood latches were discolored and I did experience some hood flutter. These latches look great and were easy to install. A little tight but I didn’t go thru fender well, didn’t remove the front grill or headlights. I used a 13mm box end offset wrench and some tape to secure the nut in the wrench. Seven Sparta gives you everything you need and the latches have plenty of room for adjustment both ways. I am very satisfied with the look and quality.

Great hood latches for jeep JKU. Install was a bit difficult and you'll need a swivel bit for wratchet and patience. You'll need to remove your intake also. Once you get everything removed install is simple and adjusting is trial and error, but the latches work great!

First, I save 5 star ratings for the best of the best products and as much as I like these latches, the instructions were awful and not much more than a handful of photos. That said, if you are semi-handy you can grasp what needs to be done and in what order but there are likely to be a few re-do moments. Take some time to think about things, take your time doing the work, and while it's a cumbersome and time consuming process it's pretty easy skill-wise. I did detach my grill by removing the snap buttons and pulling it loose from the bottom clips. I left the wiring harnesses connected and leaned the grill forward. That took only a few minutes and really, imho doing so saved me much more time getting access behind the fenders. Can you get your fingers and socket wrench in there with the grill on? Maybe but why struggle more than needed? If I had to do the job again I'd probably mask off the body and fender areas surrounding the latch area. You are working with metal parts, Allen wrenches, etc and one slip and you got a nice scratch. I worked very carefully and deliberately with luckily no oops-es but it could easily happen. I felt the size of a 3/8 socket wrench worked best in the small space behind the fenders but the normal length of it was a little short so I used a pipe as a makeshift extension. That helped a lot holding the lock nut in place behind the fender as I threaded the bolt into it. Regular nuts vs the lock nuts provided would've made the install much easier overall. When you mount the upper "hook" piece I'd start with it at it's lowest position. For me it was perfectly tight there and any higher would've been way too tight.

Great latch. Very durable. My stock rubber hinges allowed my hood to vibrate at highway speeds. These hold the hood down tightly. They are very well made with a quality finish.

The Seven Sparta hood latches are a rock solid upgrade from the factory rubber and plastic catches. Installation took less than 30min and the quality is amazing. The hood flutter that I had with the factory catches has been eliminated and there is no more rattling.

I just installed these aluminum hood latches and I honestly love them. The fitment is perfect, they sit flush and feel way more solid than the stock latches. The build quality is top tier, and the Punisher skull design gives my Jeep a much more aggressive, custom look. Installation is pretty straightforward overall. Normally this would be about a 15-minute job, but because I have inner fender liners, it turned into more of a 45-minute install. Not difficult, just a little more time-consuming due to limited access. Since I didn’t want to remove my grille, I had to reach through the engine bay to access the bottom portion that mounts to the fender side (not the part attached to the hood). For that, I used a flex-head ratchet (or a ratchet with a swivel/extension) to loosen and tighten everything, which made it manageable. Once installed though? Completely worth it. These feel way more durable than the factory latches and really upgrade the overall look of the vehicle. Highly recommend if you want something stronger and better looking than stock.

Way better than the factory latches and look better too. Stop all wind whip when passing trucks on the highway. Easy install as well. 30 minutes and your done on a 2009 wrangler. Adjustable as well

Muy fuertes y de buena calidad, en mi caso particular, tuve que regresarlos porque tengo unas salpicaderas elevadas que no permiten una buena instalación, pero me gustaron mucho, si lo recomiendo.
